Works great with Xbox One X
Bought this for my husband who is now ignoring me, hereโs what he had to say:Returned Dell S2417DG and got this monitor to use with my Xbox one X. It wasnโt my first choice, but glad I got it. The Dell didnโt have HDMI 2.0 and this one did and I wanted to play in 120hz. Monitor was easy to setup and after tinkering with settings (menu navigation terrible, my only real complaint) picture looks great. The 27in size is good too, not huge, but enough. I was playing on a 50inch tv before this and transition was seamless. For the record, this is the second monitor Iโve owned, so not super knowledgeable/ picky. I think for the price point and no frills features you get a bang for your buck. Mind you the thingโs somewhat heavy and a little dated in style, but who cares? Also nice that it comes with a three year warranty that hopefully I donโt have to use. All in all Iโd recommend for gamers on a budget who want 1440p and HDMI 2.0.

So far, no major complaints. Very solid 1440p/144Hz monitor.
Pros:-no dead pixels.-little noticeable IPS glow (not as bad as my last monitor).-30-144 Hz FreeSync range, no screen tearing whatsoever even though my GPU can do at most 50-80 fps in AAA games, depending on the game. 144 Hz in less demanding games looks buttery smooth.-1440p @ 27" diagonal is super smooth looking; I upgraded from 1080p at the same size and everything is so much sharper.-once picture was adjusted, looks great.-good contrast and viewing angles.Cons:-I need a new GPU now that will comfortably do 1440P/144 Hz; a Vega 56 isn't enough for that.-on-screen menu for color adjustment is super clunky, buttons are on the back of the monitor and takes a while getting used to. Adjusting the picture was a PITA, but thankfully I only had to do that once.-built-in speakers kinda suck, you definitely want a separate speaker system of some kind.Other thoughts:This was a serious upgrade over my previous 1080p/75 Hz monitor, and I love it especially for the price I paid.

Good in between balance for gaming
Has 1440p its with back-lit not edge litHas lfc range that goes as low as 30fps so gaming on console like ps4 or xbox will when a game drops to 30fps will helpHas low response time of around 5ms or lessThe gsync and freesync tech works over both hdmi and display portIts very hard to find a gaming monitor that does all that. It may not have hdr or 4k but it works with lfc, freesync on all consoles and pc

Better than many monitors much more expensive
This isn't a well-known monitor brand outside of gaming circles. While I'm not a hardcore gamer, I do want a monitor with good colors and a resolution that displays text without being grainy or pixelated. This monitor does that very well. The colors are excellent, and blacks aren't washed out. I don't see any "bleeding" that's common with other monitors. I use the monitor (native resolution 2440 x 1440) at the 1920 x 1080 resolution, because fonts are too small, and some programs I use don't display well if I use the Windows solutions to make text bigger or smaller. In actuality, using a 2440 x 1440 monitor at a lower resolution will actually extend its useful life, as it won't need to work as hard to produce the necessary image. I highly recommend this monitor.

Best Monitor for the Price *UPDATE
I did extensive research in trying to obtain a 1440p 144hz monitor under $400. After 3 days of research, I figured I would get this monitor based off of price, the warranty (much better than newegg for dead pixel replacement), and the size... This is a steal for this price. Absolute beast. A little bit of calibration out of box is needed, but honestly, it looks great from the start. Very happy with this monitor. Once they come in stock again, I might by one and use it in Portrait mode just because. Thanks Nixeus!UPDATE: Havent used it much since I bought it, and noticed 1 dead pixel on the right/center of the screen already.

Wonderful colors and response times
This monitor allows me to use a newer high-end graphics card on games that I play. The colors are VERY vibrant and the refresh response is flawless - no stuttering, no lagging, no tearing, or pixelation. Wonderful monitor!
