Updated after several years
I reviewed this earlier and wanted to upgrade after using it for almost 4 yearsI down graded to 4 stars but am still happy with itIt is a good holster. It is not a great holster but is border line on reaching a very good holsterIt took a bit of time to adjust but once adjusted is quite comfortable. It could be improved with a 3 mag pouch instead of a 2 mag pouch but that is about it.Holds my Barette M9 securely. I can easily draw the weapon although that took some practice to get the feel of the retaining strap. Not certain if I can describe how I do it but with a bit of practice it is fast and easyTo those who have little experience: ALWAYS PRACTICE WITH AN EMPTY WEAPON AND KEEP THE MUZZLE POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION AT ALL TIMESIt is holding up well and is reasonably comfortableCleans up easilyI am a big guy and wear a 54 long jacket so have issues with fits of many holstersThis can be adjusted to fit me and still has some room to adjust biggerCons discovered over the long term ;1 the straps that attach to your belt are a bit short and a bit light weight2 overall I think it should be a bit stiffer3 the testing strap for the pistol is a bit awkward to resecure the pistol in the holster, specifically if you pull the Velcro when drawing instead of opening the snapI like a nylon holster since it cleans up easier and does not develop an Oder and this is still the best nylon holster I have found but, surely, someone has to make a better one

Good quality, good price!
For the price this is a descent holster and carries a Beretta 92FS very nicely. It is light weight, well constructed and easy to adjust. After I make the final adjustments and trimmed any excess off the straps, I gently heat the tips with a lighter which keeps them from fraying. I would recommend this rig for occasional use.

The wrong product if concealment is your goal.
If you own a Berreta 96A-1 or a similarly sized pistol and wish to conceal it, this holster is the wrong stuff. The upright angle of the pistol overloads your underarm area and the length of the pistol makes it nearly impossible to quickly draw the pistol from the holster. If, however, you simply need an inexpensive shoulder mount for your fireamr, this units price was right.

It works well
I does precisely what it's supposed to do the way it's supposed to do it. Easy to fit. Easy to use.

Miami Vice fantasy gone wrong
The beretta is a beast in this thing. stick with the waist holster. i guess the quality is good enough, i just don't get it. I thought it would be sweet . It's a hollywood thing, because every cop i have seen draws from the hip. plus, trying to conceal the 96g or 92 is not really do able.
