I added these lights to the others I have in my driveway. They look great, exactly as described. I'm using rechargeable batteries. As with my other lights, I make sure the battery box end of the wire is next to my bins - I wrap the box in a bit of bubblewrap put it in a little self sealing plastic bag with only a small opening for the wire, then put it and the other boxes in a carrier bag and hang them inside my bin - this helps protect the batteries from rain and frost. The only problem is, if you have more than one set of lights (even if they are different brands) with remote controls it can be a bit fiddly trying to set the timer and flashing pattern on one without it affecting the others - the remotes might perform the same function on all or only some of the functions on each set of lights, so changing one can change them all ... differently! So best to mark the remotes in some way to distinguish which is which, and to cover up the boxes you're not setting. Have fun!
