Tried making my own moon cakes previously and failed. This time I focused on the dough and bought the filling. It worked...now I will tackle filling. Very tasty and easy for beginners!

Those people are right.

Horrible rancid oil taste. Not good at all, can hardly taste the very iconic flavor. Very pungent and overpowering. Made me feel sick to my stomach... I have sensitive taste buds and they seemed fine to someone else, but it's absolutely inedible to me, even cooked. Will not be buying again.

Good product awesome food

I had never tried locust bean paste before. It has a sweet mild flavor. I kneaded some cocoa into it to make chocolate Ferraro Rocher mooncakes. It worked nicely. The texture makes it easy to work with and mold into the desired shapes.

I’ve went through the long process of making Lotus Seed Paste at home from scratch for Mooncakes so I know what it should taste like and this isn’t even close. This has a very strong peanut oil taste, I wouldn’t say it tasted rancid like others have mentioned but it’s definitely not what Lotus Seed paste should taste like. I thought I would give this pre-made paste a try and save some time but ultimately it was a flop.
