Duracell PROCELL fka Duracell Medical grade are GREAT batteries -- VERY LONG LASTING!
Duracell has even outdone itself with these batteries! I originally purchased these when they were called Duracell "medical grade" batteries. I mean... if I had medical equipment that ran on a battery I'd surely want it to last as long as possible. Not only that, but the low battery light on the equipment starts blinking very early to let you know it's almost time to change the battery. Since I wasn't using these batteries for life-saving medical equipment, I let the low battery light blink to see just how long I could go before changing the batteries. I was very impressed that there was a super long "grace period" to the batteries' life span before I finally had to change them. Even my computer pro son uses these batteries now. He prefers them over rechargeable batteries because they are not only long-lasting but very dependable. (I've never been a fan of rechargeable batteries, myself.) Down here on the Gulf Coast where afternoon thunder storms sometimes act like "mini hurricanes" and just as easily knock the power out, a good battery is super important -- especially in an NOAA weather radio.

Excellent Value and Performance in a Premium Battery
Excellent batteries for every day use. No point in paying extra for name brands when these will do the same job for less. Would buy again.... A+

Why no expiration dates on batteries?
I would give these batteries five stars if they had expiration dates on them. All they have is a production code with the date I'm sure hidden in it. Labels everywhere not for retail sale (and what kind of sale is this??) plus lots of advertising for a higher priced new battery they make. Without dates, the consumer has zero protection. Ten year life expectancy? Who could possibly tell. I have bought these before and been satisfied. I'd be a lot more satisfied knowing I was paying a premium price for fresh batteries.

Excellent choice for electronics
I use them for wireless mics in my church. They hold a charge for quite some time inspite of heavy usage. Highly recommend them.
