Dell Professional Series P2419HC 23.8" Monitor with USB -C ( P2419HC )

Using this monitor for more than a month and really happy with the performance. My setup1. Lenovo T490 Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04 or Dell Lattitude 5600 Windows 102. This monitor and BenQ BL2420PT 23.8inch, 2K QHD IPS Designer Monitor3. USB connected keyboard or sometimes Bluetooth connected keyboard4. USB connected mouseI connect all of them to the laptop using a single USB-C cable and the monitor. Things get connected easily on both windows and ubuntu. The only issue I observed on ubuntu is sometimes it tries to use the max supported resolution of the BenQ monitor and fails to display. That's probably because this monitor can not handle a higher resolution than 1920X1080. Changing the resolution manually from display settings resolves the problem. But it reappears time to time : (It allows you to use your second monitor's speaker for sound output if required.It's soothing to the eyes for long time usage. I use it for ~10 hours on a daily basis. Have not verified much about its color accuracy and rendering capability. Personally found it very slick and good looking too : )

Superb Monitor!One cable, USB Type-C to my laptop as explained on DEL website - Thats it!. Laptop gets charged from Monitor Type-C Cable (supplied), extends display from laptop to the monitor, There are 4 USB ports on monitor, all these are extended and i have checked all and all are fully functional. Wait, as explained on Dell website, the Dell P2419HC Extends Display Port daisy chain into one more Dell Monitor. DP Cable also supplied.1) I have old Dell monitor. Old DELL 21" Monitor gets DisplayPort connected from New Monitor daisy chained as explained above.2) Laptop Cable: Type-C Cable to DELL P2419HC - Thats it!. Anti glare, UP/Down movement, Tilt, vertical or horizontal placement, with DP, HDMI, USBx4 data USB for extension etc.This monitor is expensive but quality is exemplary. Much better than my old Dell Monitor. No not placebo, but side-by-side its excellent. Great sharpness, easy on eyes for long hours with minimum bezel which make the new 24" looks smaller than my old 21" monitor.Very Happy

Only one concern is that you can not switch off charging when laptop is fully charged

Using this Dell monitor for the last 4 months and it is working fine. My setup is with a mac laptop. I don't need the laptop charger, docking station, USB-C to USB converters. Everything is taken care by just one cable which powers the laptop, display. The USB slots on the monitor can be used to add any dongles for keyboard, mouse, pen drive etc offering great convenience.Display is good (not the best); you can see pixels. Maybe because I was used to 4K monitor earlier.

The media could not be loaded. Got the monitor on time but found ded pixel over the screen , what i frustrating ,please dell try to fix this or replace it .after weeks of use found the issue , overall quality is good but the issue with the ded pixel is annoying.But i am updating this review to 5star , itz all because of its service, They replaced the monitor with new one Dell thank you .

Very happy with the screen. Professional build quality. Bezzles are very minimal and is welcome change for me at least. USB-C port is another plus specially for newer laptops or MacBook which only has Type C ports

Great daisy chaining monitor with a USB type C port. With this monitor, you can use multiple monitors without a docking station. Product came in perfect packing in time. This is my first DELL monitor from Amazon with power cable included ( all earlier purchases of DELL monitors from other Amazon sellers were without the power cable which is ridiculous and very annoying. DELL and their dealers should do something about that and declare in advance ). The USB type C and Displayport cables were also included. The resolution and features are not extraordinary but fine. It's basically for daisy chaining and a boon to work with. Thanks to the seller StorazeBiz and to Amazon. 5 stars to both.

The monitor with its c port is very convenient given that you can plug your USB keypad/mouse directly to the monitor and doesn’t require a separate power cable for laptop is very useful. But at almost double the cost to the monitor without this feature, it’s very expensive. Also the package I got was rather battered , I think Amazon now requires the packaging to be light, but the condition was so bad when I received that I only hope no long term damage that comes out only later has not happened

I bought this monitor for connection to my laptop and I would like to point out one bit of confusion. This is NOT a USB powered monitor even if connected from your computer to USB-C port on the monitor. The monitor itself MUST be plugged in. On the plus side, there is no brick adapter... it is a straight power cable like those you typically see on a standard PC. That said, if you have a Thunderbolt port, the monitor will keep your PC charged. So effectively you can still run your laptop with only the USB-C cable connected. There is no need for a separate charger assuming your laptop supports charging via the USB-C port. I'm running an LG Gram 17 and that's exactly how it is working. Beyond the connection confusion, the monitor is beautiful and worth every penny.

仕事用に使用しているのでゲーム等の評価は出来ませんが。会社のラップトップPCをUSB PDで繋ぐだけで充電とモニター接続が同時にできるので便利。

Super agile, flexible, clear and light. Best monitor screen I've used with more than 10 years working in various offices. Added bonus is the Portrait view which you can rotate. Also added bonus if you have macbook. Plug USB-C to monitor also acts as batter charge on the macbook.

This is a great monitor with a great stand. It's priced higher than other similar monitors, but the cost difference is probably all in the stand.The USB hub is nice too. With a good cable, the USB A ports power my pi3 well, and when I use it with my desktop, the extra usb ports are helpful there too.It has an HDMI in, and a display port in and out for daisy chaining. I wish it had two HDMI ports instead.
