Cut out the center mesh as you've already got enough with the beyer one, better isolation than the velour ones but still gives you the openess, another great AHG purchase 👍

Compared to the stock t40rp mk3 pads or brainwavz xl velour or sheepskin pads , these are more open ,airy and relaxed throughout the mid and top which allows detail to shine through without over prominence , bass is still great but i would suggest more even handed with layering of heavy synth bass being more detailed and observable than any other pads i have on hand. My t40rp mk3 have a couple of small mods ( can vent opened and driver backing tape removed and front baffle foam under pads removed but still with foam baffle liners inside the cans) so stock t40 users might find the top end becomes burdensome for long periods of use . super easy to fit and really feel and sound like they were made just for these cans . also tried with heavily modded t50rp mk3 with similar results but shure 1540 are still the champs on the t50 , hint , how about some perforated suede or alcantara pads for the fostex txxRP series , some suede or alcantara pads for sennheiser hd 600 would be nice too.

A little disappointed, given how much I spent on a pair of earpads. One of them is great, it's soft and well shaped - the other is firmer, looks more bulbous and overstuffed, but somehow is shallower? I can feel my ear touch the inside of my headphones in that cup but not the other one. One definitely feels like memory foam, with how slowly it forms after you press it, but the other one is just normal cheap foam.They're both good earpads I just wish they were consistent

My Mrspeakers Ether flow pads were getting tired after 3 years so tried out these different type of Pads for an experiment. Glad I did as they are and good fit on the headphone and really comfortable. Bring a better focus to the music. Soundstage does not seemed to be reduced but sub bass is a little less in quantity but attack is still sharp. Thoroughly recommended for a different headphone than Fostex.

Less supple than the eggshell original (which cost 2, 5 times more), which is definitely too fragile and flakes after 1 year of light use. A problem also with Hifiman pads. Leather or velours are the only material fit for these headphones. Any polyester or mixed material will degrade itself all too easily.

Yes, these are high quality pads. Whichever headphones are compatible for, they make a good replacement. I bought them but had to send them back as they were too big. But they were of very high quality, easily matching much more expensive brands out there (so long as they fit). Highly recommended. Obviously I cannot comment on their durability.

Incredibly comfortable and high quality item. Bought to replace the stock pads on my Verum One headphones. The size is perfect for them.

They fit fostex T50RPMK3.Very comfy. No leather smell, only chemical smell. Not memory foam, but quality foam.
