What size bottles fit 16oz? And how many?

I've never put bottles in it but I'm sure 14 16oz bottles would easily fit. I use it as a step, tire repair tool box. Have tools and a 150psi pump stored init.

Would this work for storing tackle and sut while fishing?

Only 1 tray so you would need containers for hooks tackle bait etc. but would give you a seat to sit on to fish !
