Great size! Excellent quality! Be sure to shop for best pricing...Magic Chef (MER-Y700W)
First, this product by Magic Chef out of Korea is VERY well made. As a portable induction cooking element, I have not found anything comparable with similar dimensions. This is a key point as this is a "small, but mighty" unit. It is perfect for dorm room cooking, RVs...and my most common use case is simmering sauces for BBQ'ing or basting or the frequently requested cheese sauce. I also use it for single person cooking...think ramen, chili, soups, etc. While it does not come with an adapter for U.S. outlets, these are easily found on Amazon for less than $5. What is NOT easily found is a seller with a reasonable price. I purchased my first one of these off of Amazon, but since then it seems sellers are attempting to gouge customers with exorbitant margins...as of this writing, this is listed on Amazon for around $160. This same unit with int'l shipping from Gmarket out of Korea is literally $100 less...roughly around $60. I can't say I understand why, but my advice is to shop around and make sure you are getting the best possible pricing...for what is arguably the most capable, portable induction countertop burner in production currently!

Excellent product BUT be aware plug will not work in USA
This unit is great for fixing a mocha pot of coffee and takes up very little counter space. You will have to find a plug adapter to use it as it does not come with one. Or, just do what I did, cut off the supplied one and use a standard 110v replacement. Yah, voids any warranty but it would cost quite a bit to return to Korea. It is unlikely to fail, at least that is my gamble. If it does have problems I will update this.Amazon does have Korean to US plug adapters. Search, they are currently about $5 for two.https://www.amazon.com/220-110-Travel-Adapter-Korea/dp/B00WIQVK5S/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=Korean+to+US+plug+adapter&qid=1706909021&sr=8-5My unit has been used daily for a couple of months now and works great. Using a small induction fry pan it cooks two eggs quickly and stays cool enough to put away all most immediately.

Small but mighty and reliable.
The burner is only 5" in diameter so it is meant for smaller pots, like up to a 2 qt pot. I used a 3qt cast iron pot and filled it with 2qt of water and it took an hour to come to a boil and only with the lid on. A pint of water in a 1qt pot took only a few minutes to boil. This is perfect when cooking for just 2 people in an RV, Boat, or cabin where power might be limited since it uses less than 450 watts of AC. Also good if you just want to simmer a larger pot of food. It has a European 240v plug but comes with a USA 120v plug adapter. It automatically switches between voltages so you only need to put the adapter on and you're good to go.

Perfect for hot water in an RV using solar power
Perfect for hot water in an RV. Boils water in induction rated kettle. Because max power is about 425 watts on 120 VAC, it is great for using with a small sine wave inverter, solar panels, and battery without using up your propane.

Its the perfect size, only does not come with US power cord.
I think I would love it if I could use it. I've tried the travel adapters I do have, and none seem to fit the bill. Unless its in code, the power cord is not in the description. In fact it explicitly says its dual power. That's my money wasted then, as I'm sure it would cost more for me to send it back to South Korea.
