Very difficult to zip up
I bought two types of sturdy zip. Two of these as they were longer, and another one from a different supplier. These ones were more expensive and are really difficult to zip up. They don't run smoothly and keep sticking. Only realised after sewing into garment (haven't used the second one in a project yet but it's as difficult to use). Shame as the other brand was spot on.

Looks almost identical to replaced one.
Bought to replace in a pram foot muff. Width of the zip made it easier to insert. Not too stiff to hand see in parts that where tricky fit the machine. Very good zip.

YKK Heavy Duty ZIP
Bought to replace damaged zip that was not strong enough for motorbike over-trousers. Works fine so far, will have to see how it goes longterm
