I have not seen the product marked as bpa free...so how can i be sure it actually is bpa free?

The description states the mold is BPA free.

yes, the silicone soap making mold is thick enough and good use.

Would this work with plaster of Paris or cement, to make a solid block?

Not sure about cement because of all the different chemicals that go into it but most things should work in it. I got bored and even started making ice in mine for when I'm making drinks and wanna use cracked ice.

is this mold PVC free?

Hi Gina, Yes, this rectangle soap mold is PVC free. made of 100% food grade silicone.
