Broke on the first track day we used it. Cheap crap , plastic just snapped when fitted. Don’t bother.

its ok for what it is, however i wouldnt use it for anything more than a static mount. the ballhead just isnt up to coping with too much impacting movement.

I had a different application in mind I shoot Astrophotography The problem i have is that, with the camera angled to the sky you cannot see the rear screen or viewfinder to view and adjust the shot. The kit of parts proved ideal for attaching my iPhone to a leg of my photographic tripod to allow me to link to the camera by WiFi to view and adjust the shot. It proved perfect for this application and has been used ever since. It has changed my shooting procedure for the better. A great kit of parts for this application. Highly recommended.

This is not that far away from being a good product but as it is it’s not good enough. There’s a little too much movement when the ball and socket head is tightened but it’s not disastrous. It would hold up well for road or maybe path cycling but certainly not anything off road or otherwise bumpy.Worse though is the attachment strap. It’s far too smooth and shiny and therefor does not grip handlebars well enough. Sure, there’s a token gesture small rubber pad in the package but I think this was an afterthought and is far from adequate.I will adapt this by adding my own rubber pads for improved grip and I may glue the ball head once I have the perfect fit angle. The. I’ll have a decent, usable product.Sorry Camkix, I like a lot of the stuff you do but this isn’t one of them.

it worked great for a day or 2...then it came loose...tightened up it up a bit more and the threaded area cracked... now in the bin.
