Excellent Audio Quality – Perfect for Streaming and Recording
I am very happy with this product. The sound quality is excellent, clear and professional, making it perfect for streaming, podcasting, and recording. It’s easy to set up and use, even for beginners, and very stable during use. The price is fair for the quality offered. Definitely a great investment!

Works great
Works really well. Use it to record my DJ sets. Sound gets recorded via video. I’ve had it for years so it’s durable. It’s also very light so easy to take everywhere. I can’t remember what it came in, but I carry it in a little box.

Lacks Help Desk support, updates are very difficult when its locked down via the company.
Used this a couple of times initially and it is a good product until it needs a update. I have contacted their support twice and after a week still reply or any help. I have two phones, one older iPhone and a new Android phone and neither can connect to it :( The issue is there is no serial number on the product itself, this is held by the help desk or documentation (which was lost during a move of house). At this present time its an unusable item.

Works for streaming but...
I tried the product to stream on youtube and twitch using my phone connected to the outputs of my audio interface at home, using my DAW to add effects. Also, I used only the 4G+ connection of my phone. Results: audio quality is not clean as streaming through OBS with your home wired internet connection. Now, I think the problem is not only the internet connection, but the device itself, and your smartphone's or tablet's capabilities to deliver a good quality live-stream. At home, on your laptop or PC, you can easily set bitrate, fps, encoding, and more options, while on your mobile device, you CAN'T if you stream directly using the Youtube app (or IG app or Twitch app). pros: - it works with batteries so you can use it with your phone anywhere, but you still need some form of effect for your instruments if you are a musician. - if you record a video with the Open Camera app for android, where you can choose to use the external microphone (in this case is the Irig solo), it really records the audio quality delivered by your DAW if you're connected to your laptop or PC. So for simple video recordings, it does perfectly the job! cons: - a good streaming audio quality also depends on a good internet connection - the streaming audio quality also depends on your mobile device's capabilities to deliver a good quality live stream, which is not always a description that you can find easily online or in your device instructions. I still haven't found a smartphone where the live stream capabilities (fps, audio bitrate) are in the leaflet or in the information web pages online - the headset input works only to monitor both your vocals and your stream. What I mean is that: if you plug a headset (mic+headphone) into the Irig input for headsets, the audio stream sent to your mobile device will include also the audio from the mic of the headset, EVEN IF YOU TURN DOWN THE VOLUME KNOB OF THE HEADSET of the Irig. When you turn down the volume of the headset of the Irig, viewers will still listen to your voice, but you won't listen to yourself and the streaming audio on your headset headphones, which is just dumb. I would have preferred to have a volume for the input of the mic INTO the live stream and not into the headset, so I can talk to my viewers whenever only while I was not playing music. Like this, the only way to turn off the mic of your headset plugged into the IRIG is to unplug the whole thing, but this creates a distorted sound when you are live streaming. - it is recommended, in my opinion, to use a VERY NEW snappy phone with good upload speed to deliver good audio quality. So you probably save money buying this device, but you need to spend more money on your smartphone. - you will need something to monitor your audio stream: I use the Open Camera app for android, where you can check the input level from the IRIG. If you look online you will find it. conclusion: I needed a device to live stream good audio quality while I'm street performing, singing, and playing a guitar. I tried to connect my amplifier to my smartphone via the Irig and to stream on youtube. However as I said, the audio quality is not as streaming from home with your PC, but was better than streaming just with your phone and no external mic; for now, it is acceptable. I will try to use a different smartphone and see if the sound quality is better or not. My smartphone is a Motorola G7+, a very old phone, not a flagship. Then I tried to record a video, using my amplifier - > IRIG -> Smartphone. The sound quality was great, and very clean, but I had to keep the "Stream" knob set at level 4. At level 6 the sound was a bit distorted. Hope this review was helpful. cheers!

One of the few ways to get audio from a turntable into Apple HomePods without deploying a Mac
Getting music from a turntable to play back through Apple HomePods is quite a challenge if you don’t want to involve a Mac of some kind. How many Airplay 2 TRANSMITTERS (not receivers) can you find? Exactly. If you exclude Apple products, you might have an easier time with finding Hen’s teeth. And the WiiM which used to do this no longer does, to my intense frustration. 🤦♂️ Enter the IRig … Connections are (in my case, at least), Turntable > Phono pre amp > Irig > iPod 7th Gen running the AirChord 2 app (this app, or something similar, is essential) > Apple TV via Airplay 2 > Homepod stereo pair and … boom. A. It works. 🥳 B. It works reliably, so I don’t have to spend half an hour faffing with reboots and reconnections every time I want to play a record 🥳🥳 C. It sounds pretty good too. 🥳🥳🥳 Significantly better than I expected, TBH. It’s clearly not a state-of-the art solution by any measure. When high-end analogue phono pre amps can cost £10k upwards, what can you realistically expect for a bit less than £100? But it’s a solution that sounds surprisingly decent IMHO. Highly recommended.😁 👍🏻

For DJing online TikTok YouTube fb etc perfect interface
Works perfectly for online streaming from dj equipment Helpful notes below You have to use with Apple lightning to jack adapter, cheaper ones don’t give any kind of sound quality! The irig can be used with an Apple device! Doesn’t work with Samsung.

Works perfectly
I’ve used it for music recording, livestreaming, and online sessions, and it delivers every time. The audio mix control and multi-input options make it very versatile — Perfect for my TikTok streaming!

Compact but Compromised
The IK Multimedia iRig Stream is a pocket-sized audio interface that’s great for content creators looking for portability. Its small size makes it easy to carry around, fitting into nearly any pocket or bag with no hassle. However, the build quality is disappointing. The plastic casing feels very cheap, and the switches in particular seem fragile—like they could break with regular use or even during travel. Another downside is the Mini DIN output used to connect it to devices. This unusual choice makes users dependent on IK Multimedia’s specific cables, which is both inconvenient and unnecessary. A simple USB-to-USB connection would have been more user-friendly and versatile for everyday setups. Overall, while the iRig Stream is compact and functional, the weak construction and cable dependency may frustrate long-term users.

SUPER SODDISFATTO
