No glove will keep your hands warm in negative digits - if you are outside for more than 10 minutes. Need mittens for that kind of temps.

Are these glove really thick with the lining or thin enough you can wear rings while wearing these gloves

They are very thick. You could wear rings underneath the gloves (there is some stretch to the fabric), but definitely not on top of the gloves.

Are these machine washable?

I believe so . I wash mine but I never looked at the bag it came in
