Wasted my money
I rarely ever write reviews but this mat deserves one, and not for a positive reason. The mat is nice and thick, so it cushions against my uneven floor tiles. However, because it appears to be made from a lightweight foam, it stretches awfully, and DANGEROUSLY when I'm doing various poses, such as the warrior poses, or downward dog. So, I get my legs in position, and suddenly the stretching and lengthening of the mat slides them further apart. Using it for such things as horizontal mountain climbers is impossible as the mat bunches up at the end, beyond my feet as they are pushing against it.I've used the mat four times and there are already scuff marks on it...and I'm barefoot, not in trainers!I should also mention that I'm a 5ft 2 woman and I weigh 8st...so...relatively small and lightweight.I wish I hadn't bought this mat. I should have paid more, and stuck with my usual Warrior mat. This was an utter waste of my money.

Throwaway item wearing rapidly.
I've used this for a total of 9 short (15 ish mins each) floor exercise sessions (situps, crunches, planks, push-ups and similar) so far and already there are wear marks on it (patches of small abrasion marks), so can't see it lasting for a long period of time. I should mention that this has only been used at home, so hasn't even been battered about transporting to/from classes.Perhaps this is to be expected for the price, but if so doesn't seem very environmentally sound or economical in the longer term so I shall be seeking out a harder-wearing alternative.

Good thick mat for yoga
Good mat, the strap is very convenient though it is just a strap, I wish it would cover the whole mat, to protect it from rain and stuff.Brand name is very visible, I wish it were more discreet.I was impressed by the thickness of this mat, it feels quite confortable.

Good for the price but not quality item.
This is a thick mat which is suitable for most home mat exercises. For the price you can't beat it, although quality wise mine couldnt bear the pressure of a sideway plank and my elbow made a permanent dent. As this was only the second time using the mat it's quite unfortunate, have given 3 stars which I think is fair. If the mat had cost more I'd be livid.

Like a crash mat, only more portable
I love this mat as the previous one I was using was slippy, too thin to help when I went ars...fell over trying head stands etc and, worst of all, was pink (pink is no not my colour). This mat is light, thick and brilliantly non-slippy and I'm sure it makes a middle aged bloke a month and a bit into trying yoga based exercise look really cool (ahem).

Excellent value for money
I got this for my yoga practice. There were few indentations in the mat when it was delivered so i contacted the seller. The seller assured me that those will go away in use. I was bit reluctant but agreed to try for 30 days. Now it's almost 40 days and I am very happy with the mat. The marks have gone and its so comfortable to do any stretches. Infact it has a wonderful grip and doesnt slip. When i take it to the yoga class which is very cold the Matt is nice and thick and protects from the cold sweeping through the mat.I am not sure why people have written bad reviews as this one surely is brilliant. The carry handle is great too. There was an odd smell initially which has gone now. It's just the packaging smell I guess.

Great mat
Average size. may not be for taller people. I am 5'7". The lavender mat you see in the picture is the bigger wider one from a different seller. I reason I like this one is cos it has vertical stripes and for some reason that makes the mat to not squeak when your foot sometimes slide on it as opposed to the lavender one which has horizontal stripes and somehow makes it sound like thermocol.eeesh.

Very comfy to lie or kneel on
It's a very thick mat, which I needed because I have terrible knees and can't kneel without pain unless I've got a good amount of cushioning. The thickness and wavy markings mean it's more difficult to balance on one leg etc than on the floor, so I can see why there are recommendations against using it for yoga, but I'm using it for Pilates so it's fine most of the time and great when kneeling or lying down. It's certainly very comfortable so fit for my purpose.
