I'm a big guy trying to lose weight. I tried these thinking these would be easy - I was wrong! These weren't hard to use either, but you really have to build up stamina. I suggest you get the smaller size if you are a beginner. I was only able to do a few reps for 10-15 second intervals at first. I watched a few You-tube videos to find some different exercises, and I'm not bored with this way of exercising.

Let me start off by saying I've not really used ropes to workout before. I'm a researching maniac when I buy something, especially if I'm not familiar with the item. I spent days researching ropes. What kind is the best? What is going to give me longevity? And so on. I've only had this for a short time, but I'm impressed!! The cover over them for this price is a really nice feature that I'm hoping helps last even longer. The weight is pretty amazing too. And the mounting ring is a LOT bigger than pictured. I thought it would be a pretty dinky ring, but this thing is pretty huge. That's not a complaint, I'm actually happy it's so big, I was a bit concerned by the main picture that it was going to be small and not really hold well.Overall, I'm very happy with this rope!

Quality seemed ok but disappointed that the wrong length was received. The rope and the packaging it came in showed 30ft even though the 50 ft was ordered.
