R4 SDHC Gold pro + USB Adapter KIT with 8 GB Micro SD Will Work ON DS DSI 2DS 3DS

Out of the box this thing is cool, runs well, but it's a little overwhelming and is definitely missing some great titles. Learn a little bit about the specific folders and data files and you can fine tune this thing to be the perfect DS companion. Hiding or Deleting unwanted games and folders will make navigating your library better experience. Adding Twilight Menu on top of the stock R4 kernal firmware will give you a better UI and a secondary firmware option for games that aren't compatible with the Stock R4's YSmenu. You can also from there get Box-art and fine-tune your experience and game settings easily in Twilight Menu. Don't ask me how just look up "DS Homebrew Wiki" - Overall this is a 5/5 for how well it runs DS titles. Also came with a media player app installed and SNES emu but it's garbage. Don't go to the sus website, YSmenu already pre-loaded, just learn how to get and boot Twilight menu 👍 PS: You need a laptop or PC to connect the microSD adapter and transfer files if you intend on upgrading your R4!

Was better than expected. Was set up and works flawlessly. Bought 2 somewhere else het didn't work at all. So happy with this card. Came faster then expected too.

Works great. I replaced the existing microSD card with one I slapped TTMenu on since I just didn't want to deal with the timebomb further down the road, or a potentially sketchy card going anywhere near my computer- no issues whatsoever. Some things to note if you're looking at this because you just want to play some old DS games: - This has a 32gb card limit. I didn't get to check to see if that's a hard 32gb limit or if it just wants something that shows up as FAT32 because I have no idea where my bigger cards went. It comes with a 4gb card, but unless you're putting every DS game in existence on the thing, you're probably fine with something that's like 4-16gb. NDS games are small, and I've barely filled my 16gb card :) - The firmware on the included SD Card has a timebomb. This means that once it hits a certain date, your card will soft lock. This sounds scarier than it is - you can easily replace the firmware, or you can just keep changing the date on your NDS. There are like a million tutorials out there that tell you how to do this - I am brand new to flash carts and I figured it out within an hour of receiving the card. Definitely worth the money.

This r4 card can run ONLY ds games but works on any ds model, including the 3ds. It does have a timebomb, but that can be easily fixed by installing YSmenu (look up “how to install ysmenu on r4 card” on youtube and problem solved). I recommend swapping out the 4gb sd card for a larger one if you plan on playing more than a handful of games, but be warned the card can only read up to 32gb sd cards, so don’t try to go any bigger than that. If you have any other issues there are hundreds of tutorials online on how to set one of these things up.

The setup for this card is great and you can even expand the micro SD card depending on size, I went from the preinstalled 4GB card to a 32GB card I wiped and formatted to 32 FAT memory and copied everything from the original 4GB card to the new one and loaded my library there and it was amazing, the preinstalled library is great and the UI pretty straightforward for anyone to test or if you want to give it to a child with a DSi or 3DS to just plug and play and have fun, but expanding to the GBA, NES, and DSiWare libraries is a ton of fun, you can even play multiplayer games by simply getting a second device, I used multiple Nintendo DSi and did not have any disconnecting issues on DS games, but opening to other game libraries for multiplayer there might be issues, also I did not find any weird "files" like other reviews stated, so I cannot address that, but the only issues to address that may be a turn off as others have stated, is these do not store 3DS games, and the timebomb which after the time expires will render your cartridge useless, but if you can overlook that and find some 20-30 minutes to customize your library preference and fix the timebomb expiration, this is an amazing deal to pay for at the moment. I've seen these sold for a higher amount that just simply not worth it. I loved the one I got will be buying 2 more in a few months when I get some additional systems to keep for myself. P.S. I never mentioned an SNES library because my cartridge came loaded with an almost full library for SNES and only needed to less than 10 games I like playing and was done.

As someone who’s only recently explored flashcards, I was quite surprised that this one actually worked as advertised. It feels and fits just like an actual DS cartridge, so the quality's pretty nice. It is a little more snug than a standard cartridge, but it’s meant to stay in your DS for long periods of time. BE WARNED! This particular flash card comes with software already installed into it, but it has a time bomb program associated with its software. Once your DS clock hits a certain date, the software just stops working. There’s numerous software programs that you can download, like TwilightMenu++, that’ll bypass this. A quick Google search and little digging into which software you’d want to use will solve any issues.

Yup not much else to say to this one. I got NDS and a whole GBA emulator working on this thing. Hated having to carry my cartridges around for games so having this as an all in one for the games I already own was great!

This item does not contain an SD card, that means no games available and no program or menu to access games. You only get to adapters. The product shows in the pictures adapters, SD card and a games list. Lies. Avoid

Just for your information, it does not play 3DS roms. It works well with DS roms, but some SNES rom give bad graphics. Also, it may only take up to 32GB memory card. I tried using 128gb, it will not work. I kept using the 8gb for now.
