I really liked this Jam! It definitely worked really well with my knotless braids, didn't leave any white residue, and had a nice firm hold! I only gave it 4 stars because of the price! It's $16 for 8 Oz, but for 4 more dollars, I can get a double that with the 16oz? Yea, I'll just buy the bigger jar and it'll last longer! But I use it on myself and my children(twists & braids) and it definitely holds up. The only thing I can't attest to is how it holds up in the summer. But again, I would definitely recommend this!

This did everything it was supposed to do with my sons hair. He loves how his hair turned out with this product.

So full disclaimer, I am not a professional when it comes to braiding. However, I tried this product for the first time because I wanted to style my daughters hair myself. It’s super easy to use, non greasy, and it doesn’t leave a white film on her hair. In addition, it doesn’t make her hair hard, which was a big thing for me. I love the natural ingredients within it, and I’m going to continue to stick with this product. I just bought another one to have in stock for when I run out of this one! I’ve found my go to gel for braids.. the smell isn’t too bad. It’s not scented, but more of a neutral smell. I just wish it was slightly a bit cheaper, but I don’t mind paying for the quality.

It’s ok, not what I expected but for the price I guess it’s not too bad or a complete waste. Would look elsewhere before buying again. It’s probably just good for braiding not edges
