Poly Nail Gel Kit with UV Lamp and Slip Solution - Poly Nail Gel All-in-One Manicure Travel Kit

I've tried a few poly kits now and did ALOT of research before buying this one this time and boy am i glad i did, I absolutely love this gel kit! I've been doing poly and building gel for a short time now(I went to school for nails when I was younger but they didn't have gel like this back then)&this kit was the easiest I've found so far. It's definately great for beginners as it's simple and comes with almost everything you need all in a very cool little bag. The only items you would need to purchace separately are the slip solution(would be great if the company can include enough at least to do the first set of nails&one of the reasons for only 4 stars) and the lamp. But both are very inexpensive so.... I used the color change gel and it was definately much easier to work with than the other poly gels I've tried so it's great for those with arthritis or other ailments that make it a tad harder to use your hands normally. The only other reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I don't know how long they last yet and I'm very good at prep so they should last at least 2-3wks minimum. So as soon as I know that I'll update my rating. But as of now I highly suggest trying this brand and kit! UPDATE; This gel by far exceeded my expectations for how long they lasted! After a month and a half they still were as stuck as the 1st day. No lifting, splitting, chipping.. NOTHING BUT PERFECT LOOKING NAILS! I was constantly complimented on them and finally after 2 months and 1 fill had to drill them off so i could try the next color which was just just easy and have lasted as long. Now if they could come out with more color change colors they'd be on top for sure! Also, they have a group pg on FB where you can show off your nails, ask questions, etc. Which has seemed to help alot of people which is pretty cool if you ask me 😉😁

The first picture is raw unfiled and no top coat in the "soft pink" color. It was very easy to do but there is definitely a learning curve for how much product to apply and what size dual forms to use. The white is difficult to cure because it is so opaque. The color changing gel is really easy to cure and looks great, probably the best one to start with. The second picture is a nude color (not from this kit) and probably my third set. It has gotten much better with practice and people always assume that I had them done professionally.

Everything came fast the only issue is the glitter was busted open and was everywhere! The product itself is amazing just wish I would have been able to use the glitter also! I really didn’t Want to go through the hassle of returning everything so I decided just to do without! All they gave the presentation grading one star only because there was glitter on everything when I opened it besides that packaging is gorgeous everything real professional and pretty except for that minor detail

The white and pink didn’t work that great. The nails keep popping off, no matter how many times I’ve tried it I always lose a nail. Its still a great deal and easy to use.

It was easy to use and apply the forms. However, my nails started popping off after the first day...Yes, I prepped the nail. I also tried a set on my sister and hers also started popping off after the first day.

Watch a few tutorials if you're new like I was; it's a must! Preparing the nails first is important & the products you need for this don't come with this kit. You'll need (1) a primer like Mia's Secret acid free one (2) 71% or less rubbing alcohol in the place of slip solution (3) dehydrating product (4) LED or UV light. Overall, this kit worked wonderfully for me & I've already purchased more poly gel for different manicures. I loved how they turned out & was even asked if I got my nails done professionally the next day. They were so surprised when I told them I did them myself. Pros: The holographic zip bag was adorable & functional as well since it's important to keep your kit away from even sunlight when not in use. The poly gel is very easy to work with & I didn't need a ton of slip solution; in fact, make sure to always wipe off excess solution. Brush only needs to be wet. The base and top coat were of a good consistency & both they & the poly cured easily one minute in my LED lamp. The tool provided came with lids on each end that covered a spatula and brush on the other end & worked well. Cons: This isn't really a con since the dual forms will please most people & are functional; but I found that for my individual fit & personal taste that I preferred to use the brush to manually spread the poly gel. Helpful hint: Use a makeup sponge instead of paper towels to avoid lint when you wipe excess slip/alcohol liquid from your brush. The pic of white nails is the Astound white poly gel, the others are after OPI Shut The Hut Up and Born Pretty silver stamping polish stamped using a Pict You stamp plate.

This kit is super easy to use. One thing to let us it doesn’t come with a slip solution. I use 90% alcohol and it works perfectly. It keeps the polygel from sticking to your brush. The light is also not that strong. So you have to cure a few times. I highly recommend getting an edrill as well. This is my nails almost two weeks later and i just ordered a drill to do the fill. It’s safe to say the nail salon won’t see me anymore lol

I was so excited for this polygel to arrive. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. It is definitely not for beginners. The pink color is very pink and it is to curing completely since the color is so dense. I also had problems with the gel in the tubes. After removing the seal film, the polygel didn’t stop coming out. The cap on the spatula is not closing after 2 times of using. I give it 2 stars because of the presentation. I do gel nails on myself and the difference between the gel and polygel is huge! Cons: 1.It does not cure properly if you put a thicker layer because of the high pigmentation (a thin layer is braking really fast). 2.The colors are not natural at all ( I had to mix white and pink in order to have a more natural color). 3. The product is very flimsy after curing and breaks very easy (I tried multiple thickness grades and all broke the next day) Pros: 1. The package is very cute and the little carrier seem to be a good quality. 2. It comes with pretty much all you need (alcohol is extra needed) 3. The glitter is very beautiful ( will definitely use it with my gel nails).
