Visual Timer
This visual times has saved our potty training journey with our toddler. It is very easy to set up, you just pick a length of time and hit set. Our toddler knows now and says all the time: the rule is he can’t get off the potty until it blinks red and beeps. For some reason, he respects this timer and stays on the potty. It works really well and is easy to set. The display is easy to read and use and turning it off and on is very quick. I would absolutely suggest this timer and buy it again in an instant.

Great for kids with ADHD
Great for my daughter with ADHD. We use it for everything, computer time, tv time, how much time until bath, reading time, how long she has to get dressed, everything. She likes timers but hates the noise so she likes how she can see when it’s getting close to going off and go turn it off beforehand. I like that I can choose when it starts turning yellow then red because if I set it for an hour and then it turns yellow with 15 minutes left she’ll stop whatever she’s doing and turn it off instead of using all of her time, so this way I can set it 3 minutes before times up and she’s not losing much time. The alarm is not enough to wake her up in the morning, but it is enough for me to wake her up then set it and tell her she needs to be dressed by the time it goes off. I usually set it for 30 minutes because she needs that much time to wake up and process so once it turns yellow then she’ll get dressed super fast and try to make it before the timer goes off. Would highly recommend to anyone with kids.

Great timer
We are currently teaching our kids time management. They earn their time for video game through chores and then we were having a hard time getting the to understand the time they are allowed on games. We would try to give them a warning of when time was going to end soon. But there were still arguments when we said it was time to turn off the games. This timer has been a great teaching tool. With the colors, they know exactly where their game time is at. They aren't super great with clocks so the clocks weren't cutting it. But now, when it turns yellow, they know time is almost over and to get to a good place to stop the game. Very easy to use and figure out. Definitely recommend to parents that are teaching time management. Makes it so much easier.

Overall worth it, but some complaints…
First off, I’m going to say that this product is genuinely helpful for me as an adult with ADHD. I bought this for myself because I was desperate to have some kind of help with transitioning from task to task and managing my time better. I’ve had this timer for a week or so, and it has already made a big difference for me. It really does help, and I know that most people would see this product and think, “Oh, it’s something to help kids..” but no, this product is for adults too. We adults can struggle with time management, ESPECIALLY other adults with ADHD. I would recommend this not just for kids, but for adults too. With that being said though, I want to mention the cons, and these are just things that I personally think would make this product better. First off, there needs to be a way to set the timer more efficiently. If I want to set the timer for 45 minutes, I have to press the “Time Set +” button 45 times. If I want to set the timer for 2 hours, I have to press the “Time Set +” button 120 times. You literally have to set the timer by the minute, and there is no option to hold it down and it goes faster, or to set it by the hour. If someone wanted to set the timer for a full 24 hours, they’d be sitting there pressing the button for a while… This was poorly thought out by the designers of this timer. Poorly. Next, there should be an option to make the timer remember the last setting. So for example, if I set a timer for 30 minutes, when time is up, it automatically goes back to zero. But there should be a way to make the timer automatically be set and ready for the same time if I wanted to, so I could immediately start the timer for another 30 minutes if needed. But no, with the way the timer is designed right now, I’d have to manually set it to 30 minutes again myself. There should also be a setting to where you can make the screen on the bottom of the timer glow, because if you were to try to set a timer in the dark, it would be impossible, or you’d need to shine some kind of light on it. I also want to mention that the overall quality of the timer does feel a bit on the cheaper side. Thankfully, as an adult with no kids that are going to use this timer, I’m not worried about accidentally breaking it, and I know to not be reckless with it in any way. But from seeing someone else’s review, we know that simply dropping the timer is enough to break it and for it to stop working. Especially the top where you press down to stop the timer feels like it could easily break if you were to slam your hand down on it, as we know a lot of people tend to do with alarms. I really wouldn’t say that this timer is worth $40, and thankfully I got mine on sale for $30, but even still, considering all the cons, I can’t say it’s a completely fair price. But what does make it still worth buying, and what does make me still recommend it to others, is the fact that there is no other timer out there exactly like this one, and it really truly can help people of all ages out there who struggle with transitions and time management. I hope the makers of this timer will see my review, as well as the reviews of others who have some of the same complaints, and will apply these needed upgrades to their next visual timer that they make.

Option for no volume!
This is the best! We have our toddler do "quiet time" used to be nap time but since she no longer naps she can just play in her room. The quiet time is really for the parents 🤣 she used to come out of her room 5-7x during her quiet time, sit in the hallway and stare at what we were doing. Whether that be us folding laundry or playing on our computers, just watching us was fun for her, not sure why 🤷 we were getting super frustrated necaus that meant we had to make sure to watch or play kid friendly things and not being a kid we don't want to...sorry long story... Main point: Get this!! She doesn't come out of her room anymore until the light turns from green to red!! You can set it to skip the yellow light all together (which we do) and you can set it for only 2 hrs or however long you need. This thing has made the parents enjoy quiet time again!!! I love it!!! And with the vol 0 option, if our toddler falls asleep during quiet time she won't wake up to an alarm, she will stay asleep! This thing is seriously the best! I give it 10 stars!

Company offers good customer service- replaced defective unit
***update. The company offered a refund but I requested a replacement. This product is way easier to use and more stable than competitor visual timers, which I have also purchased. I am very happy with the customer service. This product is very useful for kids who need more than just a verbal reminder. Original review: I purchased this product and it appeared to be working well. I refreshed all the batteries a few days ago. This evening the unit began to smell of burning plastic. I opened the back and burned my thumb when I attempted to pull out the battery. Not a bad burn for an adult but it would be bad for a kid or an elderly person. I don’t think I got my money’s worth as I haven’t had it all that long. This is going in the trash and I’m buying a different visual timer.

A very good idea, but needs improvement.
I was looking for a timer with a visual element that is easily seen, but not invasive, and the ability to turn off the alarm sound for chiropractic/massage treatments during which the alarm needs to be off. With six volume levels and an "off" (0) level, it seemed ideal. When receiving and testing the unit, it became apparent how helpful this product could be for mentally-neurodivergent types and management of activities, much like the suggested use for kids and activity management. It indeed would be useful, given that it worked. After two (!) uses, the LCD froze and remained locked regardless of new (or removed to reset) batteries. The LCD shows the startup screen with no response when using the buttons. I suspect the LCD has cheap circuitry that led to a circuit state overload of some kind, suspending the LCD in place. Here's the problem, as is with many emerging products: this product was designed to be used by kids, so it should have the following improvements: better circuitry (and possibly an AC power plug) and *more of a solid construction*! It has a plastic cap that is meant to be pressed when the timer is up; kids and adults alike often slap a large "off" button like an annoying alarm clock "snooze," but this button is flimsy as is the casing. I hope the company takes this to heart and makes a better version, possibly with a metal or higher-density casing with a button meant to take a harder hit, and better internal circuitry so that the LCD doesn't suspend its state and freeze up. If they are maximizing profits by making a good idea with bad construction/materials, then, as with any company, they are "DOING IT WRONG." Charge slightly more (or, perish forbid, profit slightly less) for a rock-solid product that can withstand the intended use.

Great for toddlers to transition to and from activities including brushing teeth
I really love this item. I needed to find a way for my twins to transition off from a video they liked to another activity when it ended. One twin would have meltdowns and then it was very difficult to console him. I looked up timers and found this one. It looked similar to one I saw at school. I used this the first night I got it. I could not believe my eyes! My son easily transitioned from the moment the vide ended to doing something else. He did not have a tantrum or scream. I have been using this for the past week and I highly recommend this clock timer as it not only has an audible sound accompanied by a visual flashing (green/yellow/red) light, but is so easy to set and pause. Right now, as I am typing this up, I have it set for free play time. Once it sounds, we will transition to another activity with Daddy. I am so glad I found it!! (I am a teacher and totally recommend this timer)

Needs a genius to configure it.
Very bad product. Hard to use and configure. The return window closed and it’s money down the drain.
