EVALUATION> The diameters seem too large for the lengths of the perches.> I've never seen either my Senegal or my Amazon stand on the perches, and their toenails remain sharp> I think that the course sand is too sharp and painful on "bare feet".> Next time I'll get the simple concrete kind, which look smooth, better proportioned for real birds, but are hard enough to abrade toenails.MEDIUM PERCH> The "medium" is about the right length for my Amazon, but a little too large in diameter> My Amazon has pretty much destroyed the perch, apparently with his beak. better for smaller birds, I have a military macaw, and he loved it, how ever he destroyed it in a few hours. I know he loved it but I think smaller macaws or birds can benefit from it. So we will stay with the larger perches they last longer and fit him better. I would recommends for greys, or conures and such. GREAT QUALITY.

Of all the nail trimming perches I’ve tried this one seems to be safely doing the trick. After just a couple day and the right placement in the cage his nails are no longer stabbing me.Worked so well just bought my second perch.

The “sand” was not adhered to the perch very well. Packaging was poor at best. Lot of debris in the shipping package. The end was broken off. This one probably won’t last as long as the one it replaced.

I like the quality of this product even though my Amazon will not go near it.More wasted money for me. He didn't like the other brands either. So I'm done buying perches.

It took forever for my Eclectus to actually use it. I put these perches next to his water and food bowls so he would at least use them a little. I did have his nails clipped before installing them.Four starts for now, let you all know how it works in a couple of months.

i did not get the right product though i sent the wrong product back number of times. instead i got a wood pices instead of the sand perch. My bird liked it though it did nothing to trim his bill or nails down
