Worked Great
This was a solid performer on our recent trip to Europe and worked perfectly in converting the current - beware of buying just an adapter when traveling to Europe as you MUST get a converter to step the voltage down from 240V to 120V. It handled my wife's hair dryer with no problem as well as charging multiple phones and tablets simultaneously. It is somewhat heavier than another unit we purchased at the same time, although the other unit failed after one use. This unit also came with multiple adapters so you can use it in different parts of the world, which is a big plus if you travel internationally to various locations. The one downside, but not a deal-breaker, is that it makes a weird sound when plugged in - think of it as Darth Vader breathing in hushed tones! Don't worry, it's very low....but it is there.

Total useless junk
How are we supposed to know if our device is mechanical or not? Right in the manual for the product it says will not work with dyson hair dryer. Yet the product description says hairdryers! The dyson is 120v 1600w. They need to be honest. It also will not work with my 15amp drone charger. We'll within specs. Junk. It has a internal annoyingly loud fan. Essentially the 120v plugs have proven useless as even my laptop brick buzzes when attached. Fortunately I was able to use the plug conversion and most bricks will work with 240v (and won't buzz!) junk junk junk. Do not buy.

Excellent Purchase
This was perfect for my revlon blow dryer brush in Europe! The intensity was a little lower than at home in the US, but it worked well enough to do my hair every day for the duration of my holiday. The fan is a little loud but it’s not bad.

Perfect travel companion
I travel a lot between the US, East Africa, Central Africa and Europe. It had always been an issue when it came to plugging the equipment while outside US. In Kampala I had to find a British adapter and in Kinshasa I had to find a solution for a European type adaptor. Not only this comes with a variety of adapter heads for practically all the countries, but it helps you keep your appliances under US voltage, which is a non negligible plus. And a bonus, the USB and USB type C outlets so you don’t even need a charger for your phones.Con : sometimes, you will hear a soft buzzing and it might scare you.The accessory is a perfect travel companion.

Output 120 volts not as advertised
I purchased this for my trip to Saudi Arabia. Couldn't test it out stateside so I had to wait till I arrived. Plugged it in and tested the voltage( I'm an electrician with his own voltmeter) 24v AC coming out of the plugs. Well that's not gonna work. Don't want to use the USB-C in case they have the wiring wrong internally and fry my cell phone.

It's Alive!!
This unit seems like an ok converter. Works fine. Not the best materials for construction but it does keep it lite for traveling. I use it when I am doing work in Iceland. It's alive..!The one major drawback to this unit, only because it is truly annoying, is the fan does not run soothly or constant - it "breathes", meaning, imagine someone sleeping in the room with you and breathing heavy. Honest-to-god that's what thing sounds like and it's kinda weird. In a quiet room it is rather annoying, like a faucet dripping - regular, consistent, noticeable "breaths". Would I buy this again? No. It works, so I'll move it to an area where I don't need to concentrate on what I am writing. There are other units that are almost silent and they are the ones I would recommend.
