Better than the Tube Sock
My guy had been looking for good socks since his1970's Tube Socks. He says: THESE ARE BETTER. He had tried compression (too tight), non-compression (too see-through), athletic (too short, too plastic), wool (great for winter, but too warm the rest of the year); all kinds of socks. THESE SOCKS ARE THE BEST! They come right up to his knee caps (he is 5' 9"). Perfect. Love these socks.....but....
Love these socks. They look great and I look great during my workouts with them pulled up high! I always wash my clothes in cold water with more delicate/natural ingredient detergents. I dry on low temp in an attempt to not damage my clothes or quicken their wear. Unfortunately, these socks do not hold up very well. I have purchased them multiple times because they deteriorate....the fabric is noticeably weak and aged, even with my (what I think) is a less harsh cleaning process. This happens within just a few months and with perhaps bi-weekly washing on average.My suggestion would be to air dry these socks. That way the soft, comfy cotton will last longer.
