Well Woven Mareva Machine Washable Grey Vintage Oriental Medallion Area Rug (2'6" x 3'9")

I loved this rug UNTIl I washed it. I don’t understand why this rug is advertised as machine washable when it is definitely not. I have had this rug for a few months and had no problems with it, other than the curling up the corners. Today my dog had an accident on it and I decided to throw it in the wash. When I pulled the rug out of my washing machine the middle was completely ruined. DO NOT WASH!

This is listed as machine washable but the tag on the back states differently! False advertisement guys, bad deal 👎

This carpet came up when I searched machine washable rugs. I get it and surprise, surprise; it’s washable. NOT machine washable. Also, the corners are rolling right up toward the center of the rug. It not only looks terrible and cheap, it is also a tripping hazard. I feel like I wasted my $90.00.

I run a doggy daycare, and the currently installed rug was like fur Velcro...and the vacuum is not sufficient!This “pet friendly” rug arrived a few days ago, and so far, it seems pretty great.I have effectively wiped up pet soils with warm water and a little pet stain spray...CLEAN!The colors are exactly as pictured...the teal is very beautiful, there are dusty lavender tones that look lovely, and the grey is a nice charcoal and not black.It’s very soft underfoot, and feels cottony...not scratchy.I’m very happy with it!

This rug is NOT machine washable, no idea why it's advertised as though it is. Care instructions say to clean with a damp cloth or a carpet cleaner. You can tell this isn't made to be washed in a machine. My review is 100% because the description is a lie. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it. Not pleased.

This rug is very stylish and matches perfectly with our decor. Purchased two, one for our entry and one for the dining area. They are thin with a black, rubbery backing. I had to add a rug gripper under the entry rug due to sliding on our wood floor. I am planning to purchase the matching runner, too. I especially like that they are machine washable.

June 2020 Update: I feel compelled to update my initial review 6 months later, and downgrading the Stars from 5 to 3. The description says it is machine washable, so I washed it in my brand new, large capacity, front loading washing machine -- cold water, gentle cycle, no detergent whatsoever, and no spin. We live in Arizona, so laid it out flat on our backyard patio table to dry. When we brought it back into the house and laid it down on its pad (which we didn't wash) we realized the rug had shrunk by 8 inches in length!!! It only shrank in one dimension, so it looks less rectangular and more square than it did. I still love the rug itself, and it survived the very gentle rinsing in the washing machine, but I do want everyone to know that water alone will shrink this rug!Original review: Love this rug so much! It makes me smile everytime I go into my bedroom. My husband loves it too! Love the muted colors of gray and blue, and that little touch of yellow is perfect! I bought a non-slip liner for about $15 and it keeps the rug secure. One of my fave Amazon purchases ever!

I love my rug, it is thin which should be expected since it’s machine washable, it did seem to shrink a little even though I used cold water. It’s been a godsend with a new puppy. I’m pretty glad I bought it.
