Best pair of boots I've bought in donkeys years, no wearing in, comfy right out of the box. I'm a 10hrs a day on my feet in the production engineering trade

Needed some better work boots as the flat soled pair of steel-toe trainers I had were beginning to cause foot problems. I bought these as I do a lot of walking on my commute but am required to wear protective footwear due to working in a warehouse/workshop. These shoes are very comfortable immediately out of the box. I switched to them and what would usually be a consistent dull aching at the end of every work day from constant walking, climbing and just generally not being able to sit, has disappeared. I haven’t been this comfortable after a 10 hour shift in a long time. My only issue with these shoes so far ( I’ve only had them for 6 days at this point) is the material. It looks and feels great, but it doesn’t handle moisture well at all it seems. Unfortunately on my first day wearing them it happened to rain, not enough to drench or even make puddles, it was just a light shower of the very fine rain that isn’t enough to soak you, just enough to make you uncomfortable. Inevitably the tops of the shoes got wet and when they did eventually dry the material has begun to crack and discolour lightly in places where creases form as I walk. This doesn’t effect the shoes from a practical standpoint, but considering the price (almost twice what you can pay for a decent pair of boots in sports direct etc) I expected a bit more quality. Overall, a great set of boots, almost perfect as far as I’m concerned, with the primary issue being simply cosmetic. If you’re just interested in having them for work, you can’t go wrong. I personally have had to wear boots as my primary type of footwear since I was about 12 due to poor genetics (I have wide feet) so I bought these to be normal footwear for everyday use so seeing them so tarnished after a touch of bad weather is a bit of a letdown.

Brilliant value, hard wearing and very comfortable. This is the second pair I have bought; the first pair lasted nearly three years and were worn almost every day. Really good boots.

Very good boot

I bought these because they were recommended by a friend as 'the most comfortable boot they've ever worn'! Well mine weren't... First day on they felt great, by the third day I had to buy some gel insoles as the cushioning had totally gone. Would I buy them again... No chance, you can keep your Skechers!!!

These lasted a good year as my daily work boots. Comfortable and good good, can't ask for much more than that. After a year's use eventually the soles wore down but at this price it's already done it's job twice over. Will definitely buy again

I usually wear sneakers but wanted a pair of boots and these boots are as light as my sneakers and really good quality

I bought these for my son who decided, at the age of 21, that he wanted to expand his horizons to try some work boots. I thought that since it was his birthday, I'd try to find him something decent but not crazy expensive. I expected they would be uncomfortable for awhile, having never worn anything but sneakers before, but he loved them from the day one, and said they were really comfortable. He wore them to work and had no problem or discomfort - just had to adjust the laces a little for the next day. I've paid a lot more for boots and gotten a lot less. My younger son has had very expensive work boots that he's barely worn because they're so uncomfortable. I don't know how they'll hold up yet, but he's happy so far, and just needs to waterproof them, which is not a huge thing. They are also a very nice looking pair of work boots so you certainly can wear them with a variety of things and they're not going to look cheap. All in all they're really a great bargain and we haven't found anything at all to complain about. You can't go wrong!
