Plugo Tunes by PlayShifu (Kit+App): Interactive Piano Starter Kit for Ages 4-10 | Educational Musical Toys for Early Childhood | Perfect Music/Musical Gift for Boys & Girls (Works with tabs/mobiles)

This is such a fun and educational toy. We were impressed by the way it works (how the piano is detected, the technology behind it). The camera detects the piano and which keys are being pressed. The program is very simple to use, and my son figured it out right away. We love how user friendly this product is, and how a child can easily operate and learn it without being discouraged. It is a great way to introduce piano to kids. Overall we love this and think it's the best toy we got this year!

My son loves playing this "game" during his school work time, we home school and this is a great alternative to screen time.

Many reviews dislike this product because it doesn't work with such and such tablet. We have a few of these Plugo products and here is a huge tip: **Know where your camera is located on your device** The app requires your camera to "see" the piano and the piano has to be on the game pad. So this works well with my cell phone as the camera and phone itself are a low profile. Put the piano on the pad (it magnatizes, super cool) then prop the phone up and bingo bango...no issues. It's a different story for my son's 10+ inch Samsung Tablet. The camera on his tablet is located on the WIDE SIDE so when the tablet is in landscape its 10 inches off the floor. A camera on the top does not work well with this one. I can get it to work but I have to tilt the tablet way far forward so the camera can "see" the piano. Definitely makes it awkward to use but my kids don't mind and since we have other phones to use (with a better camera position) it serves us well. I can verify this works with iPhone, iPad and Samsung phones and tablets. Again, that's if you work with the camera. As far as playability, my kids love these programs. We have 3 of the different kits so far and plan to get a few more. You technically only need one game pad (the blue roll out mat) and can buy the different games (the piano in this case) seperately if you have only one kid. That means if you have another full Plugo kit (count, letters, coding) you do not need this full kit, buy just the piano. We have multiple kids playing together, so we have multiple full kits and they can swap games between themselves.

My daughter absolutely loves her PLUGO tunes. She is 3.5 and she is a little too young to learn the all the songs, she can try and practice and there is a fun game where she can record her own tunes on the keyboard that she loves. It keeps her entertained for hours while I work on my laptop from home. I am excited she is learning and developing while playing and there is no mom guilt involved. It is extremely easy to set up and to connect with your device. We use it with both my iPhone and husbands tablet which is also super convenient. Would recommend it to anyone with a music loving little!

Don’t waste your money! The keys never line up so it always tells my kids they are playing the wrong not when they aren’t. The app lags and freezes half the time, even after we exit the app completely and go back in. Very frustrating for my children..I have 3 other products from them and they all are the same way

We bought it for our nephew and it’s flawlessly made for kids. It doesn’t require battery and works on computer vision. The sound comes through the phone/tablet you connect. The app is great and helps the kids to learn in gamified learning. The only limitation is, you’ll have to pay for more things.

Saw this and knew my young child would love it and the listing said it worked with fire tablet which is the tablet my children have. When we got the product we quickly realized there is no Plugo app for Amazon. I still wanted to see how the product worked so I got out my iPad and downloaded the app on that device. My child loved it and was engaged and learning. As a piano teacher myself I was impressed with the product, however it’s frustrating that it doesn’t work on the fire tablet as I don’t want my children using the iPad because it is an expensive device vs the tablets they have which are better suited for young children. I feel my child would need direct supervision anytime using this product because of this situation. The makers should remove the information about the product working on fire tablets from their listing as it is misleading for customers. Or better yet - get your app on the Amazon store.

We are really enjoying this program...just bought the other 4 last night! Great way to make learning fun! As a teacher and parent.... I LOVE this! In both areas I'm hesitant to put electronics in young kids hands. These programs are the ONLY way I will allow my youngsters to use electronics! I love that they are engaged with their hands and using a device to assist them.

Great learning device for kids.

Grandkids learn very fast with these. Fun and educational. I highly recommend.

Really awkward to set up, only worked on I phones. Really good fun once it was paired

Amazing product!! It's awesome to see how augmented reality has been used for kids game. Kids just love to play and learn with the AR piano. Kudos to team Shifu !!
