They get the job done. I was worried about some of the reviews that mentioned them moving while on the go or not staying in their place. Yes, they feel shaaaaaaaaky and make a whistle while driving, but if you follow the directions and tight them up correctly, they work just fine. I went up to 60 mph and they didn’t move at all. Not sure if they’d hold when driving on the highway but I just wanted to have the option to drive around doorless when doing errands and maybe on some off-road trips and they worked just fine for that. I’d recommend them if looking for a cheap option to make your Jeep street legal but don’t expect to have the same performance as the actual door mirrors. Also, mine came with plenty spare nuts and bolts so didn’t need to get extra hardware either.

Easy to install and works great! Brackets give mirrors excellent support and it even held them in place at 80mph!! That is only done by just using a nut and flat washer on top and a Ny-lock nut and flat washer on bottom and making them really tight! I got the same results using the supplied lock washers (metal) and nuts supplied (with nylon metal nut on the bottom of hinge). Don’t use the cheap rubber washers as they won’t hold them. My only complaint is that these mirrors are not as wide angle as the original side mirrors, or even close. In fact they don’t seem wide angle at all. But for the money they help and the brackets are great! Thank you!

Easy to install

These were decent mirrors. Had a decent view. Easy fool proof installation. Biggest issue I had was they didn’t stay in place.

Fit perfect and look great!

The video is only going about 45mph, slight shake but nothing crazy. I did venture up to 80-90mph and yes there the mirrors vibrate but similar to mirrors on a motorcycle, you can still see and they function as side view mirrors should. The people complaining must not understand that these are purely to make your jeep street legal. I’d recommend these to anyone who enjoys taking the doors off their jeep and still wants to be able to drive without breaking their neck.

These are not premium Mirro’s, but you are not paying a premium price so that’s great. They are hard to adjust and stay in place at speed. But with a little effort you can get them to stay in place and where you want them. I only wish they included some rubber or plastic washers since you really have to tightened them down to stay in place and that can cause some damage to the door pin holders if your aren’t careful. I also wish the screws used to tighten the mirror to the supports were easier to get to. I could only get to 2 of the 3 on each mirror. Perhaps using some nuts instead of screws would make it easier to firmly secure them from changing position at highway speeds.

I've had the doors off for two weeks now and the mirrors have stayed in place. I have even tested them at 70 MPH and the mirrors have not budged. Do they shake at times? Yes but that is expected with where they are attached. I have even used the hardware supplied with no issues as well. We'll see if the rubber washers hold up but so far so good. If they don't hold up then I will upgrade them to a more heavy duty washer.
