An exceptional resource to show how you become a pilot and the pros and cons with it!
This book showed me how I can turn my passion for aviation into a career in many areas. It explained in detail the experiences of the author and that not everyone comes from the background you would expect to become a pilot. Most of all it showed me that anyone can do it! I really liked that it also showed some of the negative aspects and stresses you will encounter so it is a balanced view of the industry, not just trying to get you to think its always amazing and carefree. Anyone who wants to be a pilot should read this book carefully, and then read it again to make sure it sticks. Overall I think this is a very fair and balanced view of the industry from someone who has lived it for a long time and I consider it a must read for anyone even thinking of getting into this industry.

Complete Guide for your Career!
I had no idea how many different career paths and resources there were to becoming a pilot! The author breaks down EVERYTHING – types of certificates, financial resources to get training, pros, cons, work-life balance, etc. in this handy guide that walks you through everything you need to do to get your career kick-started. What I really enjoyed was the fact that the author even gives options to those with conditions that many believe would exempt them from the industry (like color-blindness). Phenomenal work!

Factual but motivational book on the ins and outs of becoming a pilot
Having an author with such a wealth of knowledge of flight training, corporate aviation and the aviation industry in China writing about his area of expertise is always hard to come by. Vesa managed to condense a lot of truly useful information in a relatively short and easy to read book which could be the only book you would need for getting started on your aviation career. I followed the same path which Vesa described and it served me well for over 17 years and counting in the aviation industry. I fully recommend this book.

Gives you an insight of the fascinating world of aviation.
As a teenager who is fascinated about the aviation industry, this book helped me a lot if I ever think of pursuing a career as a pilot. I am extremely satisfied with the book. The bonus material by the author was one thing that I really liked. The author being a pilot himself has tons of legit knowledge. Will definitely suggest it to anyone interested in knowing about aviation.

Great Read
Easy to read, really encourages you to examine why you would like to fly and to pursue the industry. Being that the regulations mentioned were FAA, it encouraged me to visit the CASA website to find out my own country's regulations. Would recommend this book.
