Works well for upward pulling cottage basement access door (aka trap door)
Bought a cool cottage. Great view to lake from front door, but one butt-ugly trap door to concrete block basement immediately to right after walking in. Created changing room for guests, putting a grey shag carpet over ugly door, meeting height of floor. My husband had me on the search for a recessed handle, 5 or more inches his fingers could get in, and my "bad" arm could pull heavy door upward. I needed the fingers pull to face me. We couldn't find what we saw the answer in our minds. Thrilled to find this on Amazon with 4 screw install. 2 day shipping arrived on a Saturday during covid19 crisis when others quoting 3 weeks. My husband handled the angle cut into door with drawing. This is a nice 2 pack unit and great set for price. If fits your unique need, worth try!

Looks nice. Description was not quite sufficient but works. Not sized for current use. Maybe I will use later on another project as I am a fan of this style and material. Great job, Amazon for taking care of me yet again.
