BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Styler

I purchased this iron because I my aunt is a professional stylist and was always telling me that Babyliss pro is the best out there. She says it would leave my hair beautiful and frizz free. I bought it from amazon because it was selling it cheaper but I was incredibly disappointed. I used it a few times and my hair was frizzy half an hour later. My other iron works better than this one and I've been using for three years. This styler would not get hot enough.When I showed it to my aunt, she told me there was clearly something wrong with it because I was not working properly. So I called Babyliss and gave them the model/serial number on the cord tag and I was told it was a counterfeit product!! So disappointedFortunately for me, I spoke to an Amazon representative and she was able to open an investigation and I was given a full refund for this item.I highly recommend you check who the seller is if is someone other than Amazon.

I got this straightener about 20 days ago. First time I used it I liked how it left my hair: perfect waives that last for 3 days until I wash it again. All perfect. Second time, the paint started peeling up and the cord is twisting itself after 15 minutes of use. The "titanium" plate is also already scratched. Regarding my hair, it's getting damage even though I used a medium temperature this time. It smells like it's getting burned and it looks a little dry. I have been straightening my hair once a week with a ceramic one and this never happened to me.2 days ago, I just found out that I got an expensive Chinese version. I saw an stylist girl's Babyliss straightener and it seems like is made of different materials than mine. The color tone is a little different (mine actually looks like it was hand painted), also the design is not the same.I wanted to return it but the package didn't come with any returning label nor instructions to get refund (something that I found suspicious from the beginning) and the Amazon's returning policy says that the product has to be like new condition. Since this peace of garbage is already peeled and scratched I have have to throw it away before it kills my hair.I feel insulted. I totally lost faith in Amazon...................................<Update>I got an email from the seller days before my guarantee was expired. They sent me a shipping label and gave the instructions of how to return the product. I had already thrown the packaging away but they still accepted it and in a couple days I got my money back.Thank you EbeautySalon and I apologize I did not update my review before but I didn't find the option to delete it or make any update.

We bought this item directly from Amazon. We received it and it looked and worked great. My wife noticed that it often shut itself off while she was using it. We missed Amazon's return deadline, so we returned it back to the manufacturer. A couple of weeks later, we received a letter from the manufacturer stating that the product was counterfeit.Amazon, to their credit has offered to give us a full refund. Babyliss recommends using only authorized dealers, of which at the time of writing this review, Amazon is not.

Make sure to use a heat protector & oil in your hair. Does not break off your hair but be careful of the high temperature settings, it will burn your hair OFF. THIS IS A MUST BUY!!! I will never buy another flat iron again!!!

It is genuine--I compared it to Ulta products and checked with my hairdresser. The reason for the low price is that it is discontinued.Things to look for in a real product:1. no rattles2. cord is not round, it is stamped with a number of letters and numbers and the name "Luen Ming"3. It heats up fast but not in under 1 min4. It is not all metal but doesn't look "home-made"5. side plates don't get as hot as main platesThe reason for my review is that I am tired of hearing Amazon sells fake products. I bought here nothing but genuine: Frye's, Jack Roger's, Speck's... you name it. But because the price is so competitive customers doubt in they are genuine.GOOD JOB keeping products low priced Amazon!

I've used a Sedu Professional 1 1/2" flat iron for years to straighten my very long hair, but for some reason, it didn't stay on; so I decided to replace it with the BabyblissPro Nano Titanium U Styler. Being that I'm used to the Sedu flat iron leaving my hair looking very shiny and soft, I was very disappointed with the BabyblissPro Nano Titanium U Styler because even though it does straighten or curls my hair just fine, my hair looks very dry and not so soft. This U Styler is of good quality and it is easy to use, but it doesn't make my hair look as pretty and healthy as my previous flat iron.

I ordered this flat iron as a birthday gift for my wife. She was always complaining about how her old flat iron didn't work anymore, and how she couldnt get perfect straight her with the other brands that she tried. I went online and did some research on flat irons, and came across this particular brand. It had many great reviews, and people really seemed to be pleased with the way this iron left their hair. we both noticed the difference with this iron because it really left her hair perfectly straight, and looking much shinier. She loved it, and has told me that it is way better then the other brand irons that she has tried. The shipping was fast, and the quality is great. BEWARE of counterfeit products! Apparently that is an issue that people have been having when purchasing from non reputable vendors. That is why I chose to buy from Amazon directly.
