What is the difference between this product and the Ancestral Supplements brand?

We have created an organ complex that is ancestrally consistent by encapsulating as much of the whole animal as possible - a total of 9 organs. Our ancestors would have eaten the whole animal nose to tail. Our blend offers a comprehensive variety of ingredients that may better emulate what was included in traditional diets . It is a supplement that fills in nutritional gaps to help improve overall health and wellness.

How much heme iron is in the organ complex

Thank you for your question about the heme iron content in our Grass Fed Organ Complex . The vitamin and mineral content of organs / glands can be quite misleading... most of the real power of these foods come from the unique peptides, enzymes, cofactors, stem cells and DNA. .. all these things are absent on nutrition panels.
As such, we don't regularly perform assays on our products.

But as mentioned it will not give you the entire story...

Organ meats are some of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. They contain abundant bioavailable B12, several B-complex vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2, bioavailable iron, copper, magnesium, and a beneficial omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid ratio. They are naturally enriched in nutrients that we require.
Although they did not have our labels, our ancestors had this knowledge. They prized organ meats for their vital properties.

The native Americans and other tribal groups and the original healers believed that eating the organ meats from a healthy animal would improve the health of the organs of the individual.
These ancestral people understood that organ meats provided superior nutrition value (and medicinal value) over every food source at their disposal. They learned this through thousands of years of tradition. Knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

Our fellow mammals have very instinctive practices around hunting. Wolves in the wild preferentially consume the organ meats of their prey. Lions will also feast on the organs of their prey often leaving the muscle meat for the scavengers.

Does this product contain blood plasma?

All of our products are 100% freeze dried which removes virtually all moisture...  blood is over 90% water so only the nourishment of blood plasma proteins remain.
