No this is not a high dollar, fancy, rugged, high or even a high quality dog leash. But it's not bad, and it works! If you have a medium to large dog then this leash is not for you. As some reviewers have posted, the locking mechanism isn't all that strong and the whole thing is made out of plastic and feels a little cheap. Any reasonably strong dog will break it. However.. For small dogs and cats this leash is perfect. We have a miniature schnauzer and an even smaller mutt dog and it works great on them. We also have a larger shar-pei and although it has worked so far I wouldn't trust it to hold if she decided to make a break for a nearby cat.As I said before, the quality isn't the greatest but it's totally functional. The leash stop works. The retractor works. The reflector works. And it seems like it'll hold up to the wear and tear that your average dog leash receives. Most of all.. it's cheap. Four stars because of the price and function. Minus one star for the cheap build. Oh, and I bought this at a discounted rate in order to review it.

Pros, light tension, I could easily walk my 4.4 lb dog without it pulling too hard on her.Cons:The plastic feels and looks cheap, the seems are not meeting in many places leaving small opening where ants or spiders can easily crawl inside, there are also already pressure marks (where the plastic turns white) on the plastic just from shipment,The clip is REALLY poorly made, the part you slide down to open the leash clip is extremely gagged and hard to open, trying to get it back off my dog's collar I cut myself.The nylon cord is about as small and flimsy as it gets. one chomp from a standard sized dog and it's free.*I received a promotional discount on this product, however, my reviews are always honest and unbiased regardless of price I paid.Packaging also makes a huge impression to me, and my leash arrived in a crumpled plastic packaging, the kind you need a steak knife or heavy duty scissors to open.

I used this for my shih shu dog.. Its very useful since it easy to retract hunky when I cant stop him when he run so fast. Since my dog is not that big and not that heavy, I have no problem using this, its very light and i can control how long the leash i will use. The reflector is a plus at night, its so easy to recognized it.I wish you have color selection so your customer could select there preference, especially if the dog is a boy. The quality is fine for the price.So far I have no problem with the product since it does work so well.I got this with reduced cost in exchanged of my honest review.

It's hard to find a retractable dog leash that fits well in my hand. I really like the way this one is designed. The hand grip is super comfy. I like the reflection dot in the middle of it. That comes in handy for night walking. I have small chihuahuas so the size was perfect. I like the length of the leash itself as well. It gives my doggles enough freedom to go a little bit but not so much that I'm worried they are too far away. I've got a teacup chihuahua in the bunch and she's a bit of a chunky monkey. I worry she's going to get snatched up by some predator as a yummy appetizer. I liked being able to stop her at the length that's far enough for her to feel like she's got some freedom but not too far where I worry. Another bonus for a retractable leash, you don't have to worry about it tangling up and it's small enough to keep in the car or in your bag for impromptu walks on the beach. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with this leash. I'm glad I took a chance on it when I was offered a promotion for my unbiased review.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this leash. I previously had a normal, not retractable leash and in the rain it was a hassle because I would always have to stand in the rain because it never went far enough. This leash is super long. Both of my dogs use it and it is really sturdy! I love that is has reflector on it for when I walk around my lake at night. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a great sturdy leash!

Decent quality dog leash. I got the product on a promotional deal and for the selling prices expected it to be a bit more "heavy duty". However still works for our two large dogs and would be great for smaller dogs. Light weight and easy to use!
