Pretty impressive
I get macro extension tubes for every camera I buy, because they're a quick and easy way to do macro without getting a dedicated lens, which I rarely ever need or use. These tubes are the best quality 3rd party set I've seen. All metal, solid build, and even have a weather-sealing gasket (!!!). Granted, I'm not going to test the weather sealing, but I was surprised it was included. As far as function goes, no issues so far... they mount securely with virtually no play, autofocus and aperture adjustments work just as they should. Using this with the Z 24-70, I need to use the 18mm to get close to 1:1 magnification, but the image quality is great, aided by the cameras inbuilt stabilization.

Closer focusing by couple inches
I tested this extension tube with my Nikon Z5 and the 24-70mm f/4 S lens. I fixed a measuring tape at the focal plane point of the camera and took some shots without the extension tube. Minimum focus distance of the lens is just around 12 inches. I then installed the 11mm tube and compared the closest focusing distance. I got to around 9 inches or 23cm.As for the build quality, the extension tubes don't feel anywhere near as nice as the FTZ adapter. The springs in the pins are audible as you attach and detach the rings and lenses. But you can't expect much at this price point. Finally I installed the 18mm extension tube and took some last shots. I also tried the combination of both the extension tubes on my 300mm f/4.5 AI lens with the FTZ adapter. With that I got to a closest focusing distance of about 91 inches as opposed to the bare lens' 13-12 feet. The tubes held the lens securely when I had the camera on the tripod and held the camera securely when I mounted the lens collar to the tripod.I'm excited to take more photos out in the real world with this adapter.

Great at this Price
Z mount. These work great on my Z6. Overall, the quality exceeds my expectations. I would not expect these to last forever, but better than a pure budget set.Locking mechanism is positive, and I do not see any light leaking. Works great with the Z 50mm F1.8 and Z 35mm F1.8. Also works well with the F 24-120mm F4. I tried the F 20mm F1.8, but with both adapters the focus is right at the lens.I would buy this again at this price.

Surprisingly good quality and I got some great results
Considering the price point, I was thinking this extension tube set more of a "disposable" quality. I was pleasantly surprised to see the actual meal mount and decent quality plastic for the tubes. Both tubes stacked well without any light leakage. I only used these tubes in manual focus, manual exposure modes. Therefore, can't comment on autofocus or metering accuracy. Also I have used this set for only 2-3 times but time will tell how long they last. Only thing that could have been better is the tube release latch. It's very small and have no ridges making it little difficult to work in the darker situation. Having a brighter color or some sort of ridges would have provided tactile feeling. I just took an outer sleeve from an electric wire plastic, cut it and pushed on the release latch. Other than this, for the price, it's a great value.

Excellent Product at an Excellent Price
These macro extension tubes are awesome. The build quality is superb and the tolerance is prefect. The autofocus in my lens works perfectly, and paired with the 24-70 f/4 S, I get some very sharp and pleasing images.Highly recommended. Five Stars.

Great value
Full time pro 20+ yearsUsing on a new z6 with sigma 50 art with FTZ adapter and works great af is fine etc....A little rough feeling when mounting (cheap mount metal) but not gritty maybe to say rough or not polished feel/not precise but for the money waiting for native high end macro Z mount does the job very well

Cheap fun way to get some close up shots without a macro lens being available for the Z
It's just an extension tube so all it needs to do is to keep the lens and body aligned and not leak light, and it does that. I find myself wishing for an even smaller extension than 11mm, the working distances are very close (just a few cm at 70mm). The close working distances mean that in natural light the close proximity of the lens frequently affects lighting of the subject. Overall this is money well spent and opens up a lot of possibilities for the money.

Works great with the Nikon 24-70 f4 lens
The extension tubes are solidly built with a plastic body and metal mount. Attaches smoothly to the camera body, lens and each other. With the 24-70 mm lens there are No focusing problems at 70mm. At other focal lengths the focus distance may be inside of the lens, which is typical for a Nikon zoom.
