Evercade Namco Cartridge 2 (Electronic Games)

I'm new to this community & love my Evercade EXP. I wasn't sure where to start when choosing cartridges until I saw this Namco collection.Splatterhouse 2 & 3 are SO GOOD!Other games included are brilliant too. Haven't touched my Xbox Series X or Steam Deck since it all arrived.If you love Retro games, this ecosystem is for you!

This is a great collection. Splatterhouse 3 was hard to get in the UK on its original release so this was my first experience of it. It's fantastic. It has a branching story based on how quickly you make it through the levels, the combat system is improved vastly over Splatterhouse 2 and it's just a brilliant game. My only gripe is that Splatterhouse 1 isn't included.As always it's disappointing Dig Dug 2 is the NES version, not the arcade one, but it's a fantastic game anyway. Same goes for Galaga.Phelios is a tough but really nice vertical shooter - haven't made much progress yet but it definitely seems like a strong game. Dragon Spirit is quite similar.Pac-Attack is simpe but it's a decent timekiller, which is suited more to the Evercade as a handheld than it was to the SNES original.I don't like Weapon Lord. Not sure why. It just seems like a weird prototype 2D Soul Blade and it's not much fun.This is a great cartridge - miles better than volume 1 - and I've gotten many hours of joy out of it so far.

This collection has a lot of great games including Dig dug 2, Galaga, Phelios and Pac-attack. I've only had this for 3 days and I've already played 4 hours of Pac-Attack. It's a great puzzle game. The other Namco cart has better games overall.

A great collection, lots of variety and it's great to play splatter house 2 + 3 again.It's a shame these namco collections don't work on the Evercade VS, but other than that, fantastic.

I liked the fact that I was able to purchase this item from Amazon UK. The product arrived in mint condition, which made me happy since it was shipped to the United States. As for the game and quality of the product I was most definitely satisfied as it met my expectations. This was the first time I ever bought an Evercade game, but now that I know they made quality products I will continue to make more Evercade purchase.

The cartridge had Splatterhouse 2 and 3 on it and I loved playing it back in the day. I never played part 3 as it was never released in Europe, to my knowledge. Looking forward to it!!!!!

Got the classics tho I manlinly bought it for splatter house, play it on the home console version of the evercade and it is by far the best way to play retro games

Bought the starter pack with namco 1 so had to get namco 2 some great titles on this cart galaga (fav) game must buy if you have invested in the evercade

If you’re a retro gamer AND already an Evercade fan, then I think you will enjoy this cart. Excellent games here which play well on the device.Games Rated (on a scale of 1-5):Burning Force: 3. Surprisingly decent little Genesis port. Cool graphics.Dig Dug II: 4. Not as great as its predecessor, but still fun game.Dragon Spirit: 5. Really sweet classic 8-bit shooter.Galaga: 4. The NES port of the arcade classic. Would be a 5 had it been the arcade version. Still, solid port.PacPanic: 4. I had this puzzler on the old SNES. Plays great on this little mobile device.Phelios: 5. Excellent shooter.Splatterhouse 2 & 3: 4. The classic horror games do not disappoint.Tower of Druaga: 2. I’m giving this a “high” 2. Not for me, because I don’t like the battle system, but it’s not horrible.Warpman: 4. Another pleasant surprise, having not played this previously. Fun and addictive.Weapon Lord: 2. My least favorite game on the system, but maybe I just don’t understand it.Solid collection with a couple really great games and no true duds. Recommend.

Die Namco Module sind aus Lizenzgründen nicht mit dem europäischen Evercade vs kompatibel mit dem Handheld!!! Steht leider nicht in der Artikelbeschreibung!!!!Dachte erst das Modul wäre defekt. Erst nach dem Austausch gegen ein zweites Modul (das ich jetzt wieder zurückgeben muss) habe ich Mal recherchiert, eigentlich eine Frechheit!!!

NOTA: este cartucho NO funciona en Evercade VS porque los títulos de Namco no se licenciaron para consolas de sobremesa.Este es uno de los cuatro cartuchos Evercade cuya licencia expira en 2022: pendientes de que Blaze renegocie una renovación de estos derechos, los cartuchos han dejado de producirse. Lo compro por tanto medio obligado, porque si bien todavía queda stock suficiente en Amazon y en los comercios tradicionales, ya se ve por ahí a algún iluminado intentando especular con ellos.Numerado con el 6, confieso que me lo he pasado mejor con este cartucho que con el primer recopilatorio de Namco (que también se ha dejado de producir este año, por cierto). Mis títulos destacados son los dos «Splatterhouse», impensable no perder un rato al «Galaga», «Phelios», «The Tower of Duruaga» y el «Burning Force». «WeaponLord» es también un buen juego, aunque considero que los de lucha 2D han envejecido peor fue un título tardío en el catálogo de 16 bits (finales de 1995) y no se le prestó mucha atención, pero se disfruta manejando a bárbaros arrancándose partes del cuerpo. De los que no me han gustado tanto, «Warpman» es una recreativa de principios de los ochenta (originalmente «Warp & Warp»), de una mecánica muy simple y un cierto encanto pero que no me ha enganchado. «Pac-Attack» fue un intento, fallido a mi parecer, de hacer un juego de puzzle con los personajes de Pac-Man pero sin que resulte demasiado divertido. «Dragon Spirit: The New Legend» es un shoot'em up decente de 8 bits, pero en mi opinión «Phelios» es más original y tiene unos niveles mejor planteados, dentro de que yo soy un paquete jugando a los shumps. «Dig Dug 2» es correcto, pero palidece frente al primero en adicción y desafío.De los que me gustan, «Galaga» es un clásico y es casi inevitable arrancarlo «a ver cómo va» y descubrir que llevas 15 minutos sin soltar la máquina. Tengo un huequito en el corazón para el «Duruaga», uno de los primeros juegos a los que jugué pero la dificultad roza el absurdo. «Phelios» es un espectáculo visual, que a lo mejor como shoot'em up vertical deja un poquito que desear, pero yo creo que si te gusta el género lo vas a disfrutar y vas a apreciar su originalidad y el diseño de los niveles, aunque se haga repetitivo. Los «Splatterhouse» son bestias en todo: en dificultad, en gore, en su homenaje a las películas de serie B. Son grandes juegos, pero de esos que ahora que pasas la treintena y tienes más vida te los pasas abusando de los savestates. Por último, «Burning Force» es, para mí, la joya oculta de esta recopilación. Es un clon de «Space Harrier» con una protagonista mucho más carismática y con más variedad de armas y fases, además de unos gráficos más coloridos — pero lamentablemente sin la jugabilidad y el diseño de fases del original. La versión de Mega Drive no puede compararse a la recreativa, pero creo que salva los papeles sobre todo con el escalado de sprites (¡1990!). Merece la pena acercarse a este juego si no lo conoces.Los títulos de 8 bits corren emulando una NES y, los de 16 bits, utilizan el emulador BlastEm con las versiones de Mega Drive. En este apartado técnico me estaba echando a temblar un poco con «Splatterhouse 3» y «Burning Force», porque son videojuegos un poquito más difíciles de emular y temía tirones o errores en el sonido. Me alegra decir que la emulación es prácticamente impecable y permite disfrutar al máximo de los títulos incluidos en este cartucho.Así, lo he comprado casi a regañadientes y me encuentro con que lo estoy disfrutando muchísimo. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?
