SUPERIOR Queen Bed Skirt 15" Drop, 300-Thread Soft Long-Staple Combed Cotton Dust Ruffle, White

Appears to be well made with well enforced seams. Honestly, it's a bed skirt so I didn't wash it before putting it on. I feel like that is the true test, but I hate ironing, so I am putting it off until it really needs to be washed. Hey, it doesn't come in contact with your skin, right?! I purchase the mocha color, works very well with our dark modern styled furniture. I wasn't expecting it to have a bit of a shine, but it does. Initially I was upset and thought I'd return. Fortunately, the appearance looks matte due to the way it hangs and the dim lighting of our bedroom. I am not sure how silky/shiny lighter colors would look, but it is something to consider. We also have a low profile box spring (king bed) so it was a bit long. I just made an even fold in the center and that worked well to gather the extra fabric.

I ordered the King bed skirt in Taupe. The color matched the taupe on the website, but looks a bit darker in real life. I was afraid the taupe would be too purply, but it's not ... my spouse calls it "brown". It arrived quickly, was well-packaged, and upon inspection has no flaws. I was impressed with the quality of the bed skirt, especially after reading some of the negative reviews. I washed it in cold water on delicate, and dried in on delicate but didn't use the extra dry setting ... I wouldn't have minded it a teensy bit damp since I was going to iron it. Being cotton one would expect to have to iron it after washing, but it had less wrinkles than I thought it would and ironed up nicely on the steam setting for Cotton, but my iron wasn't very hot and I never actually saw any steam!I fits the bed nicely. There is about a half inch space between the bed skirt and the mattress end up at the headboard, but that was true of the one it replaced. The bed skirt I received has a drop of 15-1/4 inches, which is perfect for my setup. It seems like a high-quality cotton. And the center portion that is hidden is a heavy white cotton material.I have to say that for $29, I'm VERY pleased with the quality of this item. I would have preferred a beige for my setup, but the wood on the bed is very dark and I didn't want it to show through, so we went with the Taupe.

The overall quality of this box pleated, dust ruffle is excellent. The fabric is lovely. I would have given it five stars if not for the hole in one of the sides. I don’t have the luxury of returning it because I need it immediately. If I had more time, it would definitely be sent back.

This item is a nice quality. It is cotton all through including the matress area, not just the drop. It did shrink a bit when washed and seemed thin, although it is not transparent like the 200 thread count one that I returned to Macy's. It has two pletes on each side and one on the end with fold over corners for those with bead posts etc. I was very pleased with this item. I have a 14" drop so it drags some since it is for a 15" drop but still looks alright. I purchased it to go with my bedspead that doesn't reach the floor since my matress has a topper on it. I own a 105 room boutique hotel in Arizona and find bed skirts one of the worst things to shop for... ever. I was hoping that these would be crisp, thick, and easy to keep wrinkle free. They're just not any of these things. Don't be too fooled by the term Egyptian Cotton... or the thread count. 300 is a decent bed sheet, but not a decent bed skirt. Pima Cotton of course is the best in the world, but adding the word Egyptian sounds all fancy, but in actuality, it's not. If you want wrinkle-free, which will look cleaner and crisper and nicer, go with something with a high blend of polyester and cotton... like 65% poly, 35% cotton. Again, I'm an owner/operator of a 4-star boutique hotel with 105 rooms and have been for 10 years... so I hope you like the advice here. Ah, in closing, the same goes for sheets... go with 100% cotton for your base sheet and middle sheet... then use a down/synthetic blanket or comforter (depending on the climate you're in), then your final top sheet should again be a poly/cotton blend and you'll always have a bed that looks really crisp and smooth and wrinkle-free. Some advice on thread counts too - if you're living in a hot climate where you're using a/c a lot, stick with a 185-215 thread count sheet... you'll save money on a/c each summer.

Very nice, especially at this price. I had hoped the bed skirt would been a bit heavier with a deeper hem, but overall I am very, very pleased. It is so difficult to find affordable linens of good quality at an affordable price. The bed skirt laundered easily and there was no fading of the deep navy color. The size was just as described. Thank you! Loved that this was available through Amazon.

The fabric is soft. The color is true to the picture (dark chocolate) and with dim lighting almost looks black. It is a bit big but I put it on myself and lifting up this huge queen mattress was difficult (laughable really) so if you have a guy, get him to help. It looks somewhat like ruffling because it is big which I hate. I am not sure if it is just the way I put it on or that it is too big for my bed. All I need to do now is steam out the wrinkles and even if it is a bit too big, it will still be perfect.

When multiple people tell you in a review that the fabric is thin...believe them. While I decided to keep this despite dissatisfaction...everything else was here and ready to make the bed...I would not recommend this skirt. The skirt wasn't terrible...seems to be well made...just thin material.
