Leick Home 87360 TV Stand with Enclosed Storage For 65" TV's, Westwood Brown Cherry

I needed a new TV stand for a larger TV I bought. This is a beautiful piece of furniture and it fits the new 65 inch TV perfectly on top. Also my Onkyo receiver fits nicely inside the cabinet along with an old CD/DVD player although the CD/DVD player doesn't get used much anymore.Assembly was straight forward and without issues. One person can do it without help. All the holes aligned and all of the hardware was there. It was packed securely with plenty of padding so nothing was scratched or damaged. It is a heavy piece of furniture so, after assembly, I put some of those furniture sliders under it in case I needed to move it out from the wall. If I wanted to nitpick a little, I would prefer the door handles and the metal around the glass doors be brass. That's a personal preference though.

This is a gorgeous piece of furniture, very well-made, and designed with such integrity for assembly. It was extremely well packaged and arrived without any flaws. The color is beautiful, rich and warm. The pictures are very accurate on the website. It is perfection!

One board was smashed inside box. Box looked opened more than twice. Package label said it was shipped from “Returns dept.” so it was likely already smashed when they shipped to me. I wanted a replacement board; they shipped an entire unit. I then had to pack the entire old unit & ship it. The replacement had missing hardware, & ALSO said it came from “Returns dept.” And looked opened at least once. It was inexpensive, but a pain.Easy to assemble except for the top: the screws were either hard to reach (back ones) or hard to see (front ones). The top took longer to fasten than the entire rest of the unit combined. Took about 90 minutes overall. Very pretty to look at, and sturdy. The seller Cymax did what they could to help me with the smashed board; they did what they could within their policies or the policies of the manufacturer, but those policies stink.I needed a less-than-5 pound board; they shipped a 110 pound unit, then insisted I pack the old one in the original box and wait for FedEx to come get it, which took several days, and then FedEx just showed up without notice. And it took 3 weeks for the thing to get back to where it was going. I wanted to just take out the one board I needed, put the bad board in, and ship the replacement back, but no, I had to re-pack the OLD one. Cymax did what they could to help, but what an ordeal. I don’t think I will order from Cymax again, nor any other piece of large Leick furniture. Seriously, there needs to be a way to get a small replacement part without needing to ship 220 pounds of stuff back and forth!

Product is great. Deep, rich color variations. Quality hardware and thankfully, well packaged.However the shipping sucked. Company shipped via DHL then handed it off to UPS. Amazon said I would get a call before it was delivered, not. Anyway, as I was walking out the door on Monday, little brown truck showed up. I watched as the driver wrestled the large, 110lb box out of his truck. He wasn't able to get it on his dolly so I helped him carry it into the house. Had I not been there he would have left the package on my porch. I guess UPS has done away with the 75lb limit. Can Amazon do any better.

After we upgraded to a 50" Bravia TV in our home we needed a new piece of furniture, and we looked at about 15 other items before selecting this "TV Stand." It's more than a standard stand, and we love it. Here's why:1. It's made out of wood, not fiberboard with a veneer that can warp.2. It's a warm color that blends with our decor.3. It's easy to set up. The hardest part is opening the box. Once I did that and verified that I had all the parts, I followed the advice in the instructions and waited for my sweetheart to assemble it. The main part of the cabinet opens up like an accordion and then other parts slide into place. A perfectly-sized Allen wrench is provided for tightening the parts that bolt the top to the frame of the unit. Everything else is done with a standard Phillips screwdriver.4. The assembly instructions are well written and illustrated. The parts are clearly marked.5. The slots in the unit allow us to put wires inside the unit, instead of cluttering up the outside.6. The unit arrived without any visible mars or marks.7. Some units have a finished side and a rough side for their shelves. All of the sides of the shelves are finished, so they can be inserted in any way desired.8. It looks great in our home.To recap: high quality, good color, the right size for our TV, looks great, and will probably last for a decade or more.It did take us about two hours to install, but about an hour of that time was deciding where we were going to store the cable/satellite box, DVR, laptop computers, and other items.
