Magnetic Elliptical Long Stride Low Impact Workout

I looked at a lot of options before picking this elliptical.It comes in a pretty small box but it is SUPER HEAVYI was able to assemble this by myself, but it was SO HARD TO ASSEMBLE. I'm sure it would be much easier if you had two people to assemble it.I took off one star because of how difficult it was for me to assemble it. I think it took about 5 hours. But I was able to do it.It also took about an hour to get it out of the box and throw away all of the styrofoam.But the elliptical is actually very sturdy and I like it alot.It is really good quality and it has a water bottle holder and everything functions exactly the way that it should.I am a very athletic male and I am 5'10, The resistance is perfect for me. Right now I use it on setting 14, and it can go up to 16 resistance. I think that it is perfect and I don't see myself really ever using level 16 because it will be too high for me. I don't believe what the other people say about the resistance being too week, it is actually quite strong resistance.I am pleased with the purchase.Oh, it doesn't make any noise, but I greased everything like crazy AND applied WD40 to everything theres so much grease on this elliptical, but it is SILENT.I love it and honestly I think it's better than the gym ones.Never going back to the gym lol, i'm doing all my workouts from home now :) Super please with this purchase. YAY AMAZON!This would've been a 5 star purchase if I had someone to help me assemble it, but like I said, SHES HARD TO ASSEMBLE.Update: It as few months later. I still love it. Get this one

I have several Sunny Health and Fitness workout items; I love them and have always had a great experience with the company. I would never go to a gym, so having these little space-saving gadgets in the home to choose from is great. I wanted a recumbent bike specifically so I could read a book while on it sometimes. I looked at products and reviews from many brands, and landed back on this brand, as usual. The combination of small size, decent functionality, ease of assembly and use, and competitive price is kind of their thing. NGL I love the pink, but I would have bought it black or gray with no problem.This was even easier to assemble than the many other products I’ve put together. And is sturdier than I expected. And the resistance is much better than I anticipated based on reviews. I’m thrilled with this purchase!

BUYER BEWARE. You are basically giving amazon and sunny health $350+ for useless product that cannot be returned or repaired. I have never written a review on Amazon. But I feel the need to let everyone know DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. You literally get what you pay for. I bought the elliptical September 12, 2020 for me and my roommate to use during the pandemic lockdown. We are both females under 150lbs that only use it for light cardio. It was adequate for the price, noisy but we wanted something quick and cheap. Little did we know how cheap the machine actually was. By November the elliptical was making a VERY LOUD whooshing/whirring noise like a train horn. I reached out to amazon for help and they sent a YouTube video from sunny health to "level" the machine. A month later, the machine returned to making the noise and we couldn't even move the pedals. It sounded like something was scraping internally. We reached out to amazon and because we were out of our 90-day customer support window, I needed to reach out to sunny health for any additional resolutions. I tried calling Sunny health and no one picked up the phone. Then I emailed for support and they waited a whole week to get back to me. Below is the response I received, despite filling out their entire help form with all the information once already! Clearly a stalling tactic to giving me any form of customer service.I am still within the 180-day warranty period but clearly I will need to fix the machine myself. I spent an additional $100 on tools: three different types of socket wrenches, 2 different kinds of crank pullers to try to remove pedals. For every one’s information, the socket required is 16mm for the pedal and the crank puller must be either 25 or 26mm, I gave up trying to take the pedals off and instead ripped the cover off like another reviewer did. (If sunny health is requiring everyone to take apart their own machines, they should provide an owner’s manual that tells exactly tools and sizing you will need.)When I finally took apart the machine, the magnetic wheel was installed crooked and rubbing against the post, causing the scraping noise and prevent the pedals from moving. The drive belt was also installed half-way off it’s wheel which caused the flywheel to be misaligned. I took apart the entire machine and have not be able to manage to put it back together because the tension spring is too strong for me. I have spent every other weekend in 2021 trying to fix this elliptical, sinking more money and time into something that supposed keep me healthy during a pandemic.We have given up on fixing this machine and Sunny Health’s lack of customer service. Their business model must be to intentionally sell products that are constructed only enough to “work” until the machine breaks right out the warranty window so you must buy the parts and figure out how to become an exercise machine mechanic. We have decided to spend our money and buy a Peloton and NordicTrack. Amazon stop selling this garbage product to your customers.

After reading numerous reviews and looking at numerous models, we settled on the Sunny elliptical trainer. My only complaint was that I paid for 4-5 day shipping and it took almost a month to get here. When it did arrive, it was well packaged and had all the parts included. It also had the installation tools if you needed them. I thought that was nice. The packaging and directions were well thought out and easy to follow. My wife and I did followed other reviewer's advice and carried the parts upstairs separately. The package had some nice weight to it.Once we laid out all of the parts, the assembly went very well without any issues. Although we took our time, It only took us a little less than two hours to assemble. The leveling knobs on the machine are very helpful to stabilize it. And, their easy to adjust. The unit was going to be placed on carpet so again, we followed some of the other reviewer's advice and added a solid base. I used a 3/4" MDF board for the base. Be sure to cut it wide enough to prevent rocking of the machine. This helped greatly because the unit comes with track braces (see pic) to help ensure that the wheels do not come off the rails. It's a nice safety touch but they did drag on our carpet. The solid base took care of that issue.The unit runs very quiet without any squeaks or noises. The grease for the handle axle is prepacked so don't clean out those holes. We slid the axle all the way through several times alternating each end to evenly spread the grease on it. The best feature in my opinion on this particular elliptical is that the pedals seem to articulate, meaning, they flatten out on the down stride (see pic). This makes it very ergonomically comfortable as opposed to other ellipticals that keep your feet at an awkward downward angle throughout the majority of the motion. Great design on the pedals!The stride length is 18" and that is adequate for me, I'm 5' 11." While I would prefer a 20" span, for the money I'm good. I also chose the 18" stride because my wife and I will be using it. She is 5' 4" and it is perfect for her. I will tell you this, this machine will give your legs quite a workout! The monitor is basic and easy to work and meets our expectations. The unit is also very easy to maneuver. The front base comes with two wheels inserted into it. All you have to do is tilt and roll.This is our first piece of equipment made by Sunny and so far, very impressed with them. In closing, If you're looking for a no frills solid elliptical with a small imprint that will give you a good work out, this is a great value buy.

We decided to purchase this particular eliptical after reading all the reviews out there for all of them. Every elipical out there had complaints, even the really expensive ones! so I decided to go twith this one since it seemed to have the fewest complaints, and was a reasonable price, so I felt that even if it didn't work out I wasn't out a ton of money.It arrived in good condition, packaged very well (in a ton a styrofoam - not terribly excited about that - would love to see them switch to something less toxic to the environment!). Assembly wasn't too terrible (it took my husband and I one full evening, however he is an engineer, so I'm sure that was an advantage!) It actually took just as long to unpackage it from all the styrofoam and clean up all the mess that made as it did to assemble it!After getting the machine completely assembled, it did not work. It would turn on, but after 30 seconds it would beep and give an error message. We read all the trouble-shooting instructions and tried everything to no avail. We had read from other reviewers that they had this problem, and were just hoping we would be one of the lucky ones that didn't! Well, we weren't. So we contacted the manufacturer for help. Be aware that the turn around time for response when contacting them is anywhere from 24 to 48 hours (either they are super busy or possibly the customer service is overseas?), however they did respond, and were VERY HELPFUL!! The error message indicated (according to customer service) that the motor (which is pre-installed in the mainframe) was not working. So they sent another mainframe to us, no charge. However this second one gave the same error message! We suggested that it was possible that the control panel was bad, rather than the motor, regardless of the error message (we had read that other reviewers had issues with the control panel), and they agreed that could be the case, so they sent a new control panel, no charge. That fixed the issue!Bottom line, if you are patient and willing to take the time to work with customer service, and to assemble and disassemble and reassemble a few times, and wait for the parts in between, this is a great machine for the money! Customer service from this company was awesome, even though the response time was a little slow.Now if I would just use it a little more...

I've had it for few weeks now and we use it for about 1-2 hours a day (between myself, wife and kids). Resistance is OK for me, but I can see how it may not be enough for some people.My observations so far in no particular order:- It can be very quiet, but some cheap materials and poor fitting is causing issues with clanking/clicking/squeaking noises. Specifically the left side has poor fitting between the wheel and the crank tubes. I used a washer to fix the gap and will try to use thread locker to keep the parts in place.- The console feels a bit cheap and does not provide a whole lot of functionality, although the basics are there (time, level, programs).- When assembling the parts do not over-tighten the bolts, they are made of butter and will damage easy.- You have to be careful not to go too fast and avoid too many vibrations. The bolts will have to be re-tightened often to avoid damaging the parts and avoid unwanted noises.All in all not a bad elliptical. I agree with others that it does feel overpriced and there may be better choices in this price range.

i assembled my elliptical today , took me 2 hrs by myself, looks worse than it is. i am very impressed with how solid it is and this thing literally makes no noise @ all. i have previously owned a pro-form and i did like the space saving flip up rear fly-wheel, but it creaked and swayed, and clicked and it was heavy, the so called fan sucked, my dog could pant in my face better than these built in fans. it was the older version from today 's newer model , which looks like a beast to stand up on end for space saving and 2x the price + #50lbs heavier,so i took a chance with sunny and a front fly-wheel and it doesn't fold up, and i think i made the right choice( so far)... there are no bells & whistles ( for me all the better), a simple program to follow not to complicated as i have read about the new pro-form, no built-in fan, good i have a small clip on desk fan i will use.i really like the roller blade style wheels for the glide bars and also the two wheels to roll and move it, the 1st i have seen that style wheel on an elliptical, it's usually some bow-tie shaped roller from plastic that isn't very smooth and or quiet granted i have only used it for one program and it is in my garage, so a very flat hard surface.as of day one PRO's:super quietsolid & stablesmooth glide with roller blade style wheels on glide barsimple programsgood arm motion and a pretty good leg stridelighter than pro-from model i was looking @.has a place to put your tablet and a h2o bottle holder.CONS: well none so far for me so farbut if you like blue tooth and wireless connections etc. this isn't for youno incline adjustmentdoesn't fold up (not a space saver)i will up date as i use it more to give a more accurate review but i am initially impressed with the quality and smooth quiet operation

When it arrived we very easily put it together. It is all very easy to use. Sit on the bike.... Restart the counter.... And go.It's not overly built. Ha ha Meaning it's definitely not a big bulky machine. It will fit anywhere. Looks good too. Love the pinkIt has everything I need. Resistance knob. Time, Speed, distance, calories burned, and my pulse.Each time I use it I remind myself how I did last time by looking at the computer on the bike. Then I restart it and go. Always trying to do more.I have neuropathy and I find walking hard and my feet hurt so much so the treadmill is no good for me. This bike with its huge roomy pedals is perfect. I plan to see my doctor in a month and I know she will be shocked at how well I am doing. I now have a way to fight through my leg and foot pain.I love it and would recommend it to all my friends.

It works all right. Runs very smoothly. The resistance variations are real. It connects to the wall, no batteries. Several programs. Not too fancy, but works all right. The quality is great. Only problem: the assembly instructions are tiny. Pay close attention to where the washers go. Specially the waivy ones. Though highly moving parts are prelubricated, ensure that other parts have grease as well. It comes with a tiny, but enough, amount of grease in case of need.

Very difficult to assemble. Low quality. Pedals are uncomfortable. Not . .recommendedWhat I liked that it is small mot bulky and has a nice shape and colour and is cheap compared to other models. But I recommend you Pay more for a long lasting item
