My wife had lost items from a piece of checked luggage where one of the zippered compartments had opened (or been opened) on a previous trip. So I thought it was time to put locks on for our next trip. I bought 6 of these locks (3 2-packs) for travel to Europe for a Mediterranean cruise. They worked perfectly. It was easy to set the custom combinations and they were sturdy enough to withstand 3 airports and the cruise line. Many reviewers have griped about the fact that you can't select the colors you get. Hey...they are just luggage locks! Color didn't matter to me as long as they held up. And they did. Decent product at a very good price.

Not the most robust lock, but a good lock considering the price. Setting the combination was pretty easy, I love the colorful lock body (I received the purple), and the locks work as advertised.

Great locks other than you have no idea what color your getting. These lock are only good for keeping an honest person honest. They can be defeated in a matter of seconds. They are for air flights only and not for security.They work great for their intended purpose but are useless for anything else.

DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK!!!!!This has got to be the worst lock I've ever seen in my life. Even the tiny locks that came with my luggage (that are not TSA approved) stand a better chance at resisting being opened than these locks do.Upon arriving, I noticed that the shackle does NOT close into the body of the lock, but rather sits about 1/16" above the body of the lock. To combat this, there is a C-Shaped metal protrusion (not visible in the picture, btw) that is designed to prevent the shackle from rotating when "locked". While yes, the shackle cannot rotate because of this, it is still very possible to open the lock by force WITHOUT USING TOOLS!Using just my index finger, I was able to lift the shackle past this metal protrusion, and slide a zipper pull out from under the shackle. Additionally, once lifted, I could then rotate the shackle as if the lock were properly opened (a full 180 degrees). While doing so, I watched the numbers spin round and round effortlessly, as if laughing at me for buying this product.I will go back to using zip-ties on my luggage, as they are much more difficult to open without using tools, and much much cheaper. I wish I could give 0 or negative stars, but as the ones I received were green, I suppose the 1 star is acceptable...

I ordered 2 sets of locks (4 total), and I was sure (from all the previous reviews) that they were going to come in pink & pink. But they came in pink & orange, thankfully. We used the locks on our suitcases, as well as on our cary-ons. With the instructions, it was easy to set the lock to my chosen 3-number code. We had no trouble with the locks going through airport security. Also, we kept them on the tops of our bags, near the handle, so they were less likely to get broken (as I'd read in 1 or 2 other reviews that they could break). Well, overall, they were easy to use, a good size, bright enough to spot from a distance, and they lasted our entire trip (and trust me- they were opened and closed a lot). I would definitely recommend them.

These shell is made of some kind of plastic type composite. It is definitely lightweight and only time w tell how durable it is. The internal mechanism seems solid. The type of solid that u expect from Master. The combination was easy to set and for those complaining otherwise, just watch a video on YouTube. I would have given this product 5 stars if it weren't for the seemingly flimsy shell. But by all means it is a great value and I am confident it will serve its purpose well. If you want a more robust lock then you may want to skip over this one.

These are great locks for traveling. I have owned a set for a while and needed a couple more for travel. BUT Amazon continues to use Prestige Delivery on certain items and as usual they are late. I have ordered four items in the last twelve months which were delivered by Prestige. Two were late, one never did show up and now the fourth one, late again. I even paid for 2nd. Day Shipment. They say external circumstances beyond their control. Yah right. At least they are consistent. Late that is. Look them up on the Internet for customer reviews. I have yet to find a positive one. And now I'm stuck with a $ 10.26 second day shipment that is late. Unfortunately I will be on vacation when it gets here. Great job Amazon. I suggest everyone try finding another supplier other then Amazon as they do nothing to solve these issues.

Great locks

Feels a bit flimsy but is just as advertised. Kind of annoying that the lock won't close unless you still have the correct combination set.

Hopefully, it might slow down a thief. Definitely will not prevent luggage from being opened.
