Taco Filling mix 3.7 Ounces (Case of 6)

Three reasons to have this on hand: 1. great for vegetarian guests 2. great for emergency prep storage! 3. great for times of fasting meat, for me for Lent. They were amazing as a meal base for Lent and I plan to use them every year. Just want to say, these are really good, but it is unfair to expect something that's vegetarian to taste like "meat", that's just not really realistic. That being said, these are amazing. The only thing I do not like is that I prefer a seasoning more like taco bell. So, I use taco bell seasoning packet to doctor these up a little. These make great soft tacos, and it's also good as the "meat" in vegetable soup. In the soup, you cannot tell it isn't meat.

I've been using this mix for years! It's delicious and you can also mix it with Beyond or Gardein crumbles. By itself, it takes about 5 minutes to stir up on the stove. As a busy working mom and vegan, I appreciate the ease and taste and my family loves it when we make tacos with this mix!

If you are looking for a seasoned ground beef style substitute, my family's opinion is that this is the best vegetarian taco filling option out there. Yes, you could use other soy protein based crumbles and season them with taco seasoning the same way you would do for ground beef. But, at the end of the day, these taste better and are quicker and easier to prepare. An added bonus is that these can be stored in the pantry rather than refrigerated. It is a shame that our local Whole Foods market is no longer carrying this product, but thanks to Amazon, my family can continue to enjoy it.

This is a really good product and I revived it quickly . The package was the correct size for the item and the price was fair thank you . I will buy this agian.

This Taco Meat substitute is fabulous. It is a super protein replacement for seasoned ground beef. I often mix it up and just eat with Taco Chips, but add fresh veggies to it and its Magical!!! So much healthier for you than ground beef, with no funny taste!

I love this product and bought in bulk (two 6 packs) knowing that it is a non-perishable item that would/should come with a use by/expiration date several months, if not years into the future, however, the 12 boxes I received have a use by date that is less than one month away from when I received it indicating that they sent me a very old food product.

This tastes so good...just like real beef tacos. The texture is a little different, but the taste is excellent. Shipping was fast and product dates were good. Items arrived well packed and undamaged. Highly recommend this company!

I had found this stuff in a grocery store many years ago and loved it, but never saw it in a store again. Luckily it’s available online now.Super easy to prepare and delicious. Meat eaters love it, too, and say they wouldn’t know it was veggie if you didn’t tell them.
