Aukee H4 LED Headlight Bulb, 9003 Hi Lo Beam 12000Lm 6000K 60W Extremely Bright All-in-One Conversion Kit

Before you buy you might want to take a look and see if your original bulb goes into a omni-directional reflector cone, or does it only reflect one direction (you can test by using a laser). This bulb has partial covers on the low beam (non removable) once installed they only reflect up in the headlight assembly which will only fill half the reflector dish of my Honda Ridgeline which requires omni-directional uninhibited light. If you take a closer look at the bulb assembly it has a slight cover over the low beam SMD which causes the half filled headlight look and lack of illumination...this replaced another led assembly (Hikari Led bulbs which had removable low beam cowl) that worked great but I had to remove due to led bulb assembly size because of performance engine modifications to my Honda Ridgeline that creeped in on the back of the bulbs. I decided to place these in my son's Nissan, because his headlight assembly they only reflect down and then out and the bulb kind of sits at the top of the assembly and it worked great for him, but I am in search of another led head light solution but with minimal connector clearance.

I was able to install these in my 2016 Hyundai Accent in about 15 minutes and I even have to drop my bumper and remove the driver's side headlight assembly to access one of the lights. Fit perfectly, snapped right into place and fit underneath the factory dust protector cover. The positioning seems good and, to my untrained eye, seems to be significantly brighter than my halogen bulbs and a much whiter light with a significantly improved visibility area. Did not come with gloves for installation like all the other LED headlights I've seen, so I used non latex gloves and only touched the plug port. I've read some reviews regarding poor longevity and I will update if I experience any issues.

I have an old set of OPT7 LED headlamps that are rated at 3600 lumen (1800 lumen for each lamp), and they are the same brightness as these ones. These ones do have a slightly better light spread though and don't need a separate power regulator. These are very good, but the description saying they're 12000 lumen is an outright lie. I wish these sellers would just be honest.

This LED headlamp kit actually makes driving safer, especially at nights, as it affords far more illumination than the old H4 halogen lamps that my 2002 Toyota Tacoma originally came with. The product is well made and quite easy to install, only requiring a small modification to the stock rubber seal that sits at the back of the headlamp in order to accommodate the LED's heat sink.Customer support is also impressive. I had one of the low beam LED's go out on the passenger side after driving for about six months with the kit (See photo A). Both high and low beams have 2 led chips each. But even with just one chip illuminating on the low beam, the led cast more light than the old halogen bulb ever did. Anyway, I simply contacted Aukee and they immediately sent a replacement. See photo B for an example of just how bright the low beam is when both led chips illuminate as they should.

I put these in a 2002 Kia Sportage to swap out the weak halogen bulbs. Work great, very defined line on top of beam, doesn't blind oncoming drives with great vision of the road. High beams go a bit higher and seem to be a bit more diffused but work well. Increased by nighttime visibility at least 2 times.

Caution when reading the reviews for this item. I purchased Aukee bulbs a few years ago and were very happy with them. I wanted to buy them again so found my old purchase in history. Most of the reviews for this item are for older model bulbs sold by Aukee. For some reason, the products are different (newer designs) but the old reviews stayed under the new listings. This product wasn't even made a few years ago yet there are many reviews.Based on my previous experience with this brand, I went ahead and purchased 3 sets of bulbs, knowing that the design was different (from the pictures in the current listing). In my case, these newly designed bulbs were far dimmer than the ones I previously had, and the build quality is also inferior. I just hope everyone is aware that many of the reviews you are depending on could be for an older, superior product sold by this company.

Exactly what it says on the tin. These things are BRIGHT. Replaced a pair of LEDs that were rated brighter than these, but these are definitely brighter.That said, I'm a little sad they don't have a clean cut line at the top of the field like my previous lights did, and even after aiming my headlights down a little I still feel like I'm prone to blinding oncoming traffic.Great for backroads, a little less great on city streets.

I installed them and they were bright but they won’t work with fog lights together when using low beams and i constantly have a high beam light on my dash
