great product. i make gazpacho in the summer, and the best recipes call for ‘sherry vinegar’ and i’ve been turning to this brand.

This vinegar arrived quickly in good order. I could not wait to try it because I cannot buy a good tasting brand in local grocery stores. I made a quick and simple vinaigrette for a salad and it was so, so delicious. I have very few options in the small SE Texas area where I live to buy fine quality. Very satisfying, tastes nothing like cheap brands.

So, I'm a fan of sherry vinegar for so many reasons, but my current bottle had some obstruction when I tried to use it today. What I found inside, well, disgusted me. It's hard to tell what that is, but my guess is lemon rind, though after being pickled for so long, who knows? Squishy like an old mushroom and definitely unappealing.UPDATE: I sent a note to the seller (Stan), who, along with a friend of mine, indicated that this is the mother (or scoby) of the vinegar. Not harmful and maybe beneficial; however, it's not only unappetizing, it took up over a quarter of the bottle. That said, I appreciate Stan's quick feedback and explanation.

It was a little stronger than I expected. I love this on toss salads, especially this time of year.

This Sherry vinegar is so delicious. It's the 2nd time I've purchased it from Amazon. Worth every penny, a little goes a long way. Much better than grocery store stuff!
