Simple, Easy, Accurate
For some dumb reason my teenagers' doctors have never told us their blood type, like it was some state secret or something. That was frustrating, and the curiosity was eating me up. My wife has an A blood type and I a B type, so the kids could have been anything. So I bought two Eldoncard INC Blood Type Tests. The tests are easy to perform. You separate the little sticks to avoid cross-contamination. Then you put drops of water on the designated spots, which already have chemicals on them. A simple, painless finger prick allows you to collect four drops of blood, one for each stick. You stir it around, tip it from one side to another, and wait a few minutes. The results are easy to interpret. Basically each circle has a full red dot, or is clear with a few flecks. The instructions lay out the various patterns, and there is even a clear plastic cover to apply to protect your card in the end. The cost was low and the test easy to perform with accurate results. Would definitely buy again.

Affordable easy to use blood type kit.
This Eldoncard blood type kit is very easy to use. I've been wanting to know for sure what blood type I was for some time now. This kit allowed me to find out. It was easy and I knew the results immediately. I saw where a lot of people had trouble with the lancelet. It's really not hard to use. The instructions have pictures on how to use it. I think where most people are going wrong is that they are following the instructions closely when trying to use the lancelot. If you twist the yellow "stick" that is at the bottom of the lancelet until it comes off, then you press down the yellow cap like button on the top. This causes the needle to move out and puncture the skin. It worked like a charm for me and I only had to use one. Although they do include two of them. I am very happy with this kit. There are videos on youtube for this particular brand of kit. And there is a QR code that you can use to go directly to a video to show how to use it. I recommend watching the video before using it. I also would recommend this blook type kit. It's a reasonable price and easily tells you the results fast. I don't see how it could get better than this.

One of the coolest things ive bought!
Okay so honestly i was skeptical. I bought this as a joke because my bf wanted to know his blood type. But i was so wrong in my skepticism...this thing was SO accurate and i know that because he had his blood type tested through the red cross as well and they both came out the exact same way! What a cool kit! Its clean with clear instructions and very easy to use! Great price as well!

Great kit!
People who said they couldn't get their blood to flow are doing it wrong! 🤣 Overall, this is a great product! Very easy to follow instructions with access to tutorials if needed. Mine came with two lancets, but I only needed one (it was very effective!). You need to keep the pressure towards your finger tip, or else the spot will close! The kit comes with a pipette for water and tiny cups for your blood. The reaction happened almost immediately when mixing the blood with reagents. It also comes with a protective sheet to put on top so you can keep the card! The day we were supposed to type our blood in science class, a girl fainted and class was cancelled! So I'm glad these kits exist, it was very easy to use and you get results quickly! Definitely recommend!

The blood type test is accurate and easy to take
Wanting to know my blood type I got this at-home blood type test. The instructions were clear and the materials they provided were good. The test came with a card to accept blood in 4 circles (see attached photo of my test). It came with 2 single-use finger pricker to draw blood to be dripped into 4 Eldon sticks, each stick for dropping blood into each of the 4 circles. The instructions said to slowly angle the card in so the blood can fill each of the circles on the card. Then the results appear in a few minutes. But, the instructions said the testing is not to be used for the purpose of blood transfusions. It also said to re-test if the result seemed weak. I wasn't sure if my result was weak or worked. Rather than buy another at-home test, I got my blood type tested at an independent blood testing center in town. I'm happy to say that my blood type tests showed the same blood type. This means this at-home blood type test is highly accurate. It was also easy to take.

Easy, works very well, only complaint is the laminate sticker
Super easy to use. Worked almost instantly. My only complaint is the laminate sticker. The size of the sticker isn't quite the same as the card, so I had issues getting it to stick properly and ended up smearing my blood across the circles after I waited for the results. Results read as A negative, which was my mother's blood type, so I believe I did it properly and it is accurate.

Very easy and accurate blood type test
Very easy and accurate blood type test. Don't be afraid of the lancet. It hurts way less than even the pinch of a flu shot. I put a bandaid on it overnight and it was healed over by morning. Zero pain or soreness. The kit suggests you collect drops of blood on the test sticks but I found it way easier to drop the blood directly onto the test circles. Just make sure you don't cross contaminate the sticks. Here is an example of my A Positive blood test.

Alcohol Wipe Totally Dried Out! Type O Positive
One star deducted for having the alcohol wipe be totally dry, making have to go get isopropyl alcohol to clean my finger when I was already nervous about the lancet! My test was still good (according to dates on the package) for another year-and-seven-months! *********************************************************************** It was waiting in the kitchen for my blood…I kept finding other things to do. Anything to keep busy and stave off having to draw blood from my finger using the lancet in my brand-new blood group test kit that arrived in the mail today. It’s an EldonCard blood group test kit. ABO/Rh Blood Typing Kit I wanted to know if I was A, B, AB, O and + or – just like they talk about on TV. Plus know what velcro tactical morale blood type patch to buy for my jacket. Blood isn’t this simple actually! Did you know there are thirty-six different blood type systems? The ABO and Rh Resus factor are just two systems that this card tests. Then there are the differences between Red Blood and just plasma, it seems simple, but it’s really dumbed-down by doctors (and movies and TV shows). Actually, the EldonCard only tests parts of the ABO and Rh systems: the Rh factor has 49 different “types” but we’re only checking for one: positive or negative (circle D). As far as the ABO part: blood type “A” has around 20 different subgroups, some of which are not interchangeable! There are over 300 different antigens that can be tested for in the different blood type systems. So what does this kit do? Basically, the A circle has anti-A chemicals on it, which clot up it touches A blood. The B circle has b antigens that clot up if it touches B blood. When you look at the clotted blood: it looks like polka dots which is why you need to NOT give certain people certain blood types during a transfusion: all their blood with clot up and kill them. Huh? What does this kit show? There are four circles: A, B, D and Control: If A clots: you’re type A. If B clots: you’re type B. If A & B both clot: you’re type AB. If neither A or B clot: you’re type O. If Circle D clots you’re positive. If Circle D does NOT clot you’re negative. Circle Control: if this clots you messed up the test/it was defective from the factory. Buy a new Eldoncard! How do you use the kit? 1. You put a drop of water on each of the circles. 2. Wipe your finger with the alcohol wipe (mine came dried out, so I used 70% isopropyl alcohol). Wave your hand around to pool blood into your fingers. 3. Jab your finger with the spring-loaded lancet. I actually had a family member force my finger onto the spring-loaded lancet because I was too scared. It finally went off and laughed at the non-pain, “that’s all?”, LOL! 4. Touch one of the four provided dabbers to your bloody finger and swirl it onto the water drop in one of the circles. Throw away the dabber and grab a new dabber (one dabber per circle, no mixing allowed). Right before your eyes you’ll either have a pretty even smear of blood, or the smear will very quickly start clumping (agglutination) right before your eyes. I’m sorry, but the results are positive. As you can see in my test photo, only Circle D (#3) clumped up. This means: no A, no B so I’m an O with a Positive Rh: so that makes me “Type O Positive”. I was actually hoping for type o negative because that’s the universal donor (and also the name of a really cool goth metal band). This allowed me to order the appropriate velcro tactical morale patches from Amazon. Let’s say I have one of these patches on a jacket, and a Charmin delivery truck driver shoots at some toilet paper hijackers and a stray bullet hits my arm: the hospital will pay NO attention to it and do their own tests, even when I say “don’t prick my finger, I already did an $8 test in my kitchen while sucking down a Red Bull during the great coronavirus shutdown of 2020! and I'm pretty sure I read the results correctly...wait, this *isn't* my jacket!” Why on Earth would you do such a thing? I hear this phrase a lot in my life, LOL! Nowhere in my medical records was my blood type listed. My doctors couldn’t tell me. I can’t donate blood (which is how most Americans learn their blood type). My doctor wouldn’t order a blood type test because there was no immediate need—and there’s no real use because if you need a transfusion they will retest anyway” since the consequences are so dire (imagine all your blood clumping like it does on the test card). Plus it was only $8 off Amazon, although two days later the price has been jacked up to $15 with Prime! This would be a cool project for a kid in school (take the test, document results, write a report). I did have a DNA test with 23&Me years ago and they said I was "probably" a type o, but they couldn't be sure. That blood type info has disappeared off their medical results page. I decided to see if it was true. Anyway…it seemed like a good idea at the time. *****UPDATE 2021: I had another surgery and this time they actually tested my blood (weird that they didn't for the previous surgery) and on my online medical chart it said I was Type O Positive: so this test kit worked and I have confirmed the correct result.
