RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS AND ADDICTIVE!!!
Years ago (before the internet was in wide use), I used to buy black peach penguins at a chain of candy shops located in airports. I am not a big candy eater. But the store offered a free sample and pestered me to take one. They look like they will be licorice. But no, they are deliciously peach flavored! I was immediately addicted. I brought some to my mother, and she had the same reaction, even though she, too, was not a big candy eater. So, every time I traveled (which used to be very often for work), I would find the airport chain candy store and buy a quarter pound or so. In time, I was buying a pound each time, splitting it between me and Mom.Then all of a sudden, the stores disappeared; gone out of business. Bereft and craving these peach flavored penguins, I would go in every candy store I passed to see if they had them. I also looked online to no avail. This went on for years. After years and years of searching, I gave up. However, few months ago, something made me decide to try again on Amazon to find them. And there they were! I ordered a bag (2 pound minimum). When they arrived, they were just as delicious as I remembered them to be—in fact, MORE! I have to force myself not to eat 25-30 of them in one sitting, which is quite easy. They disappeared quickly.Luckily, Amazon has the peach penguins on subscription. So, I now can have them coming regularly, automatically, and with a discount.Everyone has different tastes. But if you like gummy type candy, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend you try these.

Fruity Bears
I was looking forward to trying Yupik's Organic Gummy Bears. I expected a natural fruity flavor and free of unwanted dyes or enhancers. I've eaten the non-organic brand and was left with a dyed tongue and a nasty after taste. I didn't want to eat the extra sugar as well. I wanted to try an organic brand but was afraid of the texture being to soft or grainy. The packaging of the organic gummy bears is plain and I can see every gummy bear in the clear plastic bag. The information provided such as organic certifications, and the ingredients list is legible. The appearance of the gummy bears is the average size, shape is like a little bear and color is very translucent. The ingredients used in the organic gummy bears are natural ingredients. They are free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The taste and flavor of the organic gummy bears is light and fruity. The taste is not similar to conventional gummy bears. There are no strong distinct flavors or combinations to create. It's basically the same taste. There is a difference between the pink gummy and the lemon gummy. The texture of the organic gummy bears are soft, chewy, and simi firm. It dissolve in your mouth easy. It does not get stuck on your teeth. The consistency is the same: fruity, lightly sweet , melts easy. The mouthfeel is very soft and smooth. No residue. The aroma of the gummy bears smells like a floral sweet bouquet. The aroma is wonderful the moment you open the package. Then you bite into them and the aroma is the same taste experience. My overall experience is what I expected. This is a high quality product. If you are looking for a healthy sweet treat not worry about chemicals , then buy this product. If your on your journey of eating less chemical in candies then buy this product. But if you love a pungent taste and residue on the tongue, then buy the non-organic brands. You may not appreciate this product.I did consider the factors like the quality of ingredients, taste experience, and packaging when pricing this item. It is worth my health.I have a sweet tooth and I enjoy eating these organic gummy bears and I will purchase them again in the future. I do like the clear bag. I can see the colorful bears. It brought a smile to my face.

Fresh and peachy
These were the freshest peachy penguins I’ve ever had. So soft and pillowy. Definitely not tough or chewy. These are a true addiction for me, you need to try this!

Inconsistent Flavor, new version isn't as good.
Like others, I've had my Peachy Penguins come melted into one giant blob. It was two bags like that, gross! Then recently I received a bag and noticed they didn't taste right! The bag said Peach Penguin with Natural Fruit Flavor or something like that. I did a blind test on family members, they all said the same thing. Now, my current bag says the usual, but tastes like the new version. Which isn't as good. This will be my last time ordering. Which is sad, I was enjoying the nostalgia from my childhood.

Chemical at first, then Cola flavor - not all bad but definitely not good either.
Great soft gummy texture and Coke bottle shape is fun…BUT, first thing you realize when you bite into it is that this is definitely a factory synthesized piece of artificial flavor. Very strange chemical hit to the taste buds - not poisonous or toxic tasting just artificially weird. Then a passable cola (Coke) taste kicks in and is reasonably pleasant. Flavor overwhelms your taste buds or smell sense after one or two bites though and then the pleasant cola taste is lost and you mostly just notice the nice, soft gummy texture. The biggest problem then though is that you KNOW you are eating something artificial that probably isn’t good for you and so the whole experience is NOT worth it. I’m not upset or unhappy that I gave them a “taste test” and likely I’ll finish (1 or 2 bites at a time and not every day…) but this will be a one time single purchase as ultimately they’re somewhat nasty and not worth ingesting.UPDATE 12/2024 (almost 2025)Interestingly since I left the review last February I have not eaten ANY more of the gummies. More an indicator of how much I disliked that initial chemical-taste hit than anything I guess because they simply dropped off my radar. I haven’t been avoiding them as I stand by my original review I just haven’t thought about them as my interest (albeit subconsciously) just went poof! More funny than anything but yeah, I guess I really don’t like weird, strange (nasty?) artificial chemically type tastes. Maybe my rating should tick down a half star🤔
