Perfect for us.
This is a great mattress for our baby. There was no smell to it, however, we did buy an open box one to save money. I imagine if it did have an odor, just airing it out for awhile would solve the problem. I like the different firmness options on either side. It’s also very quiet, not plastic covered like other baby mattresses that crinkle when baby moves. Fits snugly in the crib. I can’t attest to its waterproofing, as I always keep a waterproof cover on mattresses to keep them clean.

Great Mattress!
My little one has been struggling to get comfortable and stay asleep, to the point he was up several times a night crying. This mattress has been a lifesaver. He's waking up maybe once a night and is able to comfort himself and go back to sleep. He doesn't seem to be waking up sweaty or uncomfortable. He did have a leaking incident and I was worried about the mattress but it didn't mess it up at all. ALL AROUND WIN! So happy I took the jump and purchased this.

Poor quality + very soft & flimsy
I had high hopes for this mattress considering there were very good reviews for it but I was disappointed. The box was so light I was surprised there was a mattress inside. The mattress had a few rips on the side with cotton fuzz coming out. The mattress could easily be folded thats how light it was. I waited a few days and it was still the same no difference. I plan on returning this and getting a Colgate mattress. We bought that for our first born and had no issues for her first 4.5 yrs on it til we moved her onto a full size bed.
