Jaguar XK140/150 In Detail

This is a good book on the Jag XK-150 with some additional information about the XK-140. Unfortunately, I like the XK-140. However, if you like the XK-150, then add A STAR. For me it was not worth the cost ($44).Both Paul Skilleter's A Collector's Guide and Nigel Thorley's Haynes Great Cars offer far better values at one third the cost.

This is an excellently produced and detailed book. It is also nicely illustrated and sold at a reasonable price. I found the meticulous records of each vehicle series to be invaluable for verifying my own XK150DHC and I also found them to be more accurate (at least in detail) than those in another leading book. Mr. Clausager is an elegant writer and certainly one of the great Jaguar experts!

Nice book, great photographs and lots of detail about production figures and archival facts, which is logical given the author's position as archivist for the JDHT. There are some superb detail shots of the cars, although I would have preferred more detail about the physical features of the cars, but overall it's a great book.

Great photos and accurate depictions

After 33 years in the import car business I thought I had seen it all. I have over 50 years of Jaguar experience and learned TONS in this book. A must have for Jaguar fans.

Production numbers, changes in production, colour schemes, detailed pictures of the interior and exterior.But also attention for rivals, prototypes and more.Nice to read, fun to look at the photographs, and interesting to check the data of your car.

My husband is thrilled to bits. I bought this as one of his birthday presents.
