This is a nice tool, and it does what it's supposed to do. And I like the way the instructions are permanently attached to the lid and plasticized. The case is well made, and all the accessories are clearly labeled. I'm pleased with the set.

My Dad's power steering pump went out in his 77 Chevy Blazer and he wanted to fix it. Upon removing the pump and buying a new one he realized that the pully needed to be removed off the old pump then installed to the new pump. He had all the tools but not the tools in this kit. While I'm not a mechanic I did find the process interesting. I also saw the value & importance of this kit. When I say you will not regret this purchase I mean it! As a 41yr old woman with a moderate amount of mechanical experience, having the items in this kit at my and my father's disposal made the task of removing the pully effortless. I doubt he or I will need this kit frequently, but it was a very good investment as it is always wise to have the right tools in your toolbox. Sure beats renting or borrowing tools from someone else and hoping it works out well! If you've never replaced a power steering pump I suggest watching a quick video or two on YouTube to get acquainted with what you're getting yourself into. Looks and sounds tricky but if you buy this kit YOU WILL be glad you did as it gets the job done right the first time. About an hour and a half later, the Blazer was on the road and working good as new.

Works great for ford ranger

This tool works good but be careful to use it correctly, the threads will not hold up to misuse.

Bought the OTC similar kit and the 8mm adapter for a f150 snapped on the first install. Bought this one for half the price and installed without an issue. Function, fit, and finish of this kit is way superior for half the price. To be fair , the 8mm adapters are pretty small for the job they are asked to do and that's Ford's fault, but I feel the metal that this kit is made of is definitely higher grade. Also if you snap the OTC 8mm adapter you won't find a replacement for less than the price of a new kit, and I believe you can get replacement parts for this kit pretty reasonable.

This worked out very well. I used it to remove the water pump pulley from a 2011 Cadillac DTS. I was also able to use one of the specialty screws to put the pulley back on. I had to finagle some things to make re-installation work - like using washers, but I got the pulley back on - and with no damage to the pulley. Yay! If this kit was to have a way (other than the way I figured out) to re-install the pulley, I was not sure which pieces to use.

After purchasing a less expensive set, a broken bolt during installation made me remember quality in tools comes 1st. I owned this Powerbuilt for 10 years until it took legs. Purchased this one and made the excellent choice once again.

Worked well enough to remove and reinstall the pulley on a Mercury Marine seawater pump. The case is nice and the instructions are on laminated cards rivited to the case. Make sure to lubricate the screw threads well as stated in the instructions and there should be no issue with durability for casual DIY use. You may need a breaker bar to provide enough leverage when installing the pulley. I highly recommend a press for reinstalling the pulley if you have access to one.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Tool. Zunächst hatte ich es vergebens mit einem Standard Abzieher versucht, aber mit diesem Abzieher ging es dann relativ einfach. Gute Qualität in einer praktischen Aufbewahrungsbox!!

Great product and good freight timing from the UK to Australia

This worked as advertised, only issue I had was the pulley I wanted to remove was already damaged. Tooling is exceptionally good and good quality too.
