MG Collection Hamilton Oversize Shopper Tote Convertible Shoulder Bag

This is the absolutely most incredible purse i have ever owned. It's exactly like the picture but better than i expected. The picture shows the padlock smaller [usually that's reversed with the pic being smaller] but it's not it's larger which i luv. The colors are the same but a richer color. It's a really good size too with plenty of pockets. I'm using the backside pocket for my cell phone so i don't have to dig around inside for it. The handles are comfortable enough to carry on my arm. It really looks alot like real leather where u can't tell really & it's rather soft too. I've gone thru SO SO MANY purses trying to find the one where i don't have to keep buying em & spending money over & over & God brought me across this incredible purse. It's a classy & cool purse. Well made great too. When it got here [a day late but worth it the p.o. probably ran it late cause it starts out on fedex & delivered by usps] it was so cool cause they wrapped all the outside hardware & straps in that sheer wrapping paper to protect it in shipping & i like that. It' just the most amazing purse. Good depth & good pockets & if u have like an ipad or notebook computer u can carry it in there too. Order this [& would make an awesome Christmas gift or just for urself or just to bless someone special] u will be extremely happy u did. Great price great job to the makers of this. LUV IT. Good strong zippers too & that's vitally important to a woman i think @ least to me it is. As i said I LUV IT U will too i guarentee it

This bag is SO worth the money! Actually, it is a steal. It looks like I have paid a lot for this bag when I got it for a song. It is assembled very well. The seams and stitches are all straight and uniform. The exterior material is heavy duty and gives the appearance of quality leather. The lining is a good tight material which is holding up well so far. The long strap is well made, which I think is important because it is a dead give away whether it is a lesser quality bag. The other hardware - the lock, the key and hanging decorative fob - are heavy metal and well-made, which again I think is important as it speaks to the quality of the bag. The inside is very spacious - in addition to my wallet, check book and a bag of make-up, I am able to carry my Kindle, cell phone, a sizeable pack of tissues and a large water bottle in side easily. Because good quality materials are used, this bag is a little on the heavy side. However, it weighs about what a good leather bag of the same size weighs, so I think this just further adds to the appearance of a quality bag.

So I have had this for about a year now. I wanted to wait a bit to see how well it lasts. With good care it still looks new. (I change my purses every few weeks, this one has been in the line up about 4x, because I liked the colors).I only have few cons and the reasons for only 3 stars.one is every since I bought the bag the fake lock continues to fall off, and I even tried super gluing it closed but eventually it comes off again. I finally decided to just leave it on my dresser but it looks stupid with the empty loop. So I lock my keys to it.Second is when it arrived it had a really bad smell to it and took a while to air out and remove.Finally I think the design of the lock could have been better on the back the little "leather" strip doesn't even connect so there's a large noticeable gap. I also removed the little gold emblem with the R because it was very flimsy and since it was so long kept snagging on things. Plus the purse looks way better with out it. I noticed that my Michael Kors purses that has the hanging emblem is not as long and I never had trouble with it snagging.

I wish I could give this more stars. I really liked the purse. The color was a really nice, rich denim blue. However, it's kind of big and floppy. I bought a purse organizer for it, which helped a little, but there were other things wrong, too, and it just wasn't worth the money. The hang tag on the front is too long and gets in the way. So....I shortened it.....second problem solved. The "leather" on the strap started to show wear after the third day. Not a huge deal....but after only a few days, a little concerning. Final straw.....the lock would not stay closed! I was constantly clipping it shut and then ten minutes later it would be hanging open or falling off. After it fell off in the parking lot at work, I decided it needed to go back. I realize it's not an expensive purse and the finishes will not be high-end, but the basics of the purse should still work and last for more than a couple of days. This may be a case of one bad apple, but I feel anyone buying this purse should be aware of its issues.

This is a great purse for the price. It seems very sturdy. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I have not had any problems with the stitching or hardware coming undone like other reviewers have complained about. The accent color is definitely more of an orange than a brown! The description says black and brown, but be aware that it is orange!There is plenty of room for anything you want to carry, and the strap is a nice option, especially for taking on the airplane or vacation! My only complain is that the large lock on the front of the purse is so heavy that the front of the purse doesn't lay right when carrying the purse by the handles instead of using the long strap! Other than that, the purse is really attractive, and I have received many compliments on it!

I love the style of this bag and the color, I ordered blue, it looks to be a more expensive bag than what it is. I took that strap with the r off though because I thought it looked tacky. I usually carry it at the bend of my elbow but it can go on my shoulder if needed and I love the crossbody strap for when my hands are full or am just tired of holding it. One thing I don't like about it is that the lock is heavy so it flips into the bag sometimes and the things I put in the pockets behind it fall out, it'd be nice if they had some sort of snap to keep them closed Other than that I love it! Great purse that I plan on using for a long time!
