Best trackball mouse out there
Too bad they discontinued it. I’ve had a bunch of these and swear by them. I use the 575 now, which is still excellent, but I prefer the shape and tactile feel of the 570. It keeps the wrist elevated above my desk, whereas the 575 makes me alter my hand position to prevent wrist contact. You get used to it, so not a big deal. The 570 isn’t as slippery, so it keeps a nice contact with your hand. The 570s will encounter button failures after a couple years of heavy use. If you’re good with a soldering iron, there are some simple DIY fixes on YouTube for when the inevitable comes knocking. You just need to buy a little replacement component, which costs a lot less than a new mouse. Highly recommend the 570.

Trackball is great!
Got my trackball to replace an aweful mouse I bought for my new computer. I have had a trackball before and liked it (no more pushing my mouse off the pad) while yes it does take a little bit to get used to it I find the trackball to be a great mouse, and the logitech it the best of them. This particular trackball is on the lower end of their scale but still performs flawlessly, my previous one was in the $70 price range and there is a noticablely more luxurious feeling to the larger ball, but beyond that this one does everything I need it too without any lack of performance. The seller shipped quickly and I received it well before the expected date, it was packaged well and was received with zero damage to the box or product. In summation I would say if you have never tried a trackball you may like the fact your hand stays in one place as opposed to chasing your mouse around your desk. For the money this is a great quality mouse with great bluetooth reception and an above average battery life, I reccomend giving it a try you maybe pleasantly surprised.

Trackball mouse that is comfortable and fully featured!
The Logitech trackball mouse is my go to PC mouse so that I may minimize the space required to operate the cursor on my computer. I had a previous one that I used for many years unit I inadvertently damaged it by attempting to clean it with alcohol and other chemicals as opposed to the process Logitech recommends. This trackball operates with smoothness and precision that allows me to quickly and accurately position the pointer (or cursor) where I want. The Right and Left buttons along with the scroll wheel work well and the PC software driver includes features on speed and operation that I utilize to my advantage. I highly approve of this device.

Solkd, functional, economical replacement for the expensive mouse I've been using for years.
I love a competing product, but the high price made me look around. Using the track ball with the thumb takes some getting used to -- and I'm still in the process, find it awkward and it's easy to find myself fumbling around to put the cursor where I want it -- but I'm getting better and though it lacks a left-right scroll wheel, which I really liked and used often, it looks like this economical alternative will serve me well. One thing I really like is that instead of moving the mouse around, it's stationery. That was a very easy and natural adjustment for me.

Good mouse for the basics
I bought this for older strategy games on my laptop; I just prefer this type of mouse for them. The only thing that lessens the score for me is the buttons. They're slightly squishy rather than snappy. The games I use it for sometimes require double clicking quickly and sometimes the squishiness doesn't register. It doesn't happen often but is annoying when it does. This surprised me as I had a trackball from Logitech from the late 90s and that thing was a tank. It lasted over 20 years. This model is similar in shape and comfort, it has additional buttons if needed, but I was disappointed at the responsiveness of the main 2 finger buttons. It gets the job done and is inexpensive. There's a hole in the bottom to easily pop out the ball for cleaning; this is nice. The extra buttons are useful for some games, I just haven't had to use them yet. The battery life is great. I've had the mouse several months without having to change them out yet; there's a power switch on the mouse that aids in this. The BT adapter is quick to connect. Good mouse, if the main buttons were less spongey, it would have been great.

Great Gaming Mouse!
Literally my favorite mouse ever. Occasionally youll need to pop the mouse ball out and clean it, but thats hardly an issue. I've changed the battery a total of twice (maybe thrice) this year. I think its great for gaming, because you dont have to flick your mouse around everywhere while you play, and you can roll the ball for cool techs.

These last a LONG time
This is the third one I have purchased. I didn't buy this because my old ones died, this was purchased due to the fact they don't make this model anymore. Once the others die I'll have a replacement. This particular model (M570) has lasted nearly 10 years of heavy usage. I'm not sure about the new models but I'm convinced they made this one so well that Logitech didn't make any money off of it because no one replaced it with another due to breakage. To put it in perspective, as a photographer by trade I have processed over an estimated 36,000 pictures over the last 5 years using the same trackball. What impresses me is, this is the same trackball I used as an IT professional for 4 years earlier at my office. This device takes minimal maintenance, every once in a while you'll need to remove the ball (easy to do) and clean the human finger grease (it's gross I know) from the support pins that hold the ball in place. The one AA battery lasts about a year for me. I just hope Logitech continues this kind of quality in their future models.

Logitech M570
I have NO IDEA how this trackball works for gaming as I am not a gamer; I left the rating for that blank. That aside, I owned an M570 for years and always thought it to be the best trackball on the market. After a while, of course, it started to fail, just stop working till fiddled with, and I thought it time to replace it. But Logitech stopped making them. I prefer the M570 over its successor, the M575. I thought so little of the M-575 that I tried other models as well, and I find I like the Kensington Orbit Fusion better. It's not thumb-driven so took some getting used to, but it fits my hand well and I think gives me better control. But I'll find a use for the M570 that I was able to find online; it's still the best thumb-controlled trackball I've ever found. I just wish the M575 was the same size as I found its smaller size unnatural as I have large hands.

Logi MX Ergo Trackball Mouse
User of Trackballs since 1999. Many previous logitech corded versions still around somewhere, with a few of the competition. Currently using three M570’s. Best mice around no question. When one was damaged I saw an opportunity to try either the M575 or Mx Ergo. Bought MX Ergo and wondered why i did not try this earlier. Disregard some of the reviews, some are out of date. This is a review of mine shipped Oct 2023 to the UK. Pros: Sturdy feel and built. Has some weight to it. Has a larger area for palm which is surprisingly an improvement. Solid feel when using. Trackball is a smooth type (compared to the rougher ball that most have complained about) Mine was shipped with same ball as the on the 570 but grey in colour. Smooth to use, so no problems there at all. Can be used on 2 devices independently by switching between the usb receiver on one device and using bluetooth on another via the button on mouse Best of all, by using the Options+ flow software on two pcs you can copy and paste files and pics from one device to another. The mouse goes between one pc screen to the other (no need to switch on the mouse !). Just drag and drop between pc screens. Both pcs must be connected to the same wifi. The transfer speed is as fast as your wifi router allows. Ok for pics and files. Huge Gb files will work but go get a coffee while it transfers ! Slower tracking speed available when needed for more precise mouse movements. The track wheel is much improved and has some really smooth slow motion when scrolling down web pages and docs. Makes quick reading a web page much easier. Battery life says 4 months in manual per charge. I have not charged it at all. Used daily for the past 2 weeks. Good for any rechargeable device. Can be used it one of two positions. Flat or at a notched angle (say 20 degrees in manual) I have never had a position issue with a logi mouse so I thought this was a gimmick. It is sometimes a nice change of hand position when working for a long time. I say this is a pro. For some reason I prefer 20 degrees ?? Cons: Rechargeable battery. M570’s used one alkaline AA every few years. Cannot beat that, so not sure why they changed it. No where on the mouse to store the usb receiver ? Important to me if I am away. Amazon description says USB-C. Mine was shipped with Micro USB connector see pic. No big deal but worth noting if that was a requirement of the purchase. Two xtra buttons (left and right clicks) on schrol wheel. Cannot find any practical use for these. Too sensitive to use even for copy and paste, but all buttons can be made redundant in the settings or customised if needed. I use the slow tracking motion button on this mouse more than I thought it would. The specs say it has 3 dpi settings, the button just has two and I cannot find any setting in the software to try the third dpi setting. Overall a quality well made piece of kit. if you are a trackball person. This is the best so far.

I've been using Logitech trackballs since...
I've been using Logitech trackballs since... OMG THAT LONG! Sept 1994 I went for an interview at a company for my first job in computer graphics - in this case label design. The owner sat me down at a desk with a trackball. What the hell is this thing? Needless to say I loved it and have been using a trackball ever since. Quite honestly I'd trade this USB version back to a corded one if I could still get it. At my desk it really doesn't matter and nothing worse than the couple days prior to your battery actually dying. LONG LIVE THE LOGI TRACKBALL!
