Beautifully bound book. Filled with mythology from many sources. Highly recommend!

I can't express how beautiful this book is. I'm a collector (not professional, just hobby) of beautiful books and this one definitely took the cake! Definitely worth the money!

Beautifully bound, great quality

A truly beautiful version of the definitive collection of classical mythology.Vast and poetic in it's story-telling,it is the book I always return to when reading these eternal tales.Nearly any myth from ancient Greece can be found here as well as Arthurian legend,some Teutonic myth,and much more.This classy version is even more splendid as it is leather bound,with golden edged pages and tassel.It is thick,but not a very large book,making it easy to to hold and read.Any self respecting lover of mythology should have this scholarly edition in their library.

Good quality overall. The binding seems to be of good quality, the printing is too small and as is common with Chinese printing, they do not give enough margin toward the binding. At the price I consider this a good value.

This book is full of a lot of information about Mythology but it doesn't have a lot in the way of stories to forewarn those looking for that. This has a lot of basic introductory information into mythology but is still a great reference guide to have. I'm very happy I decided to add it to my library along with all my other history and mythology books. It's well worth the price and is a beautiful book.

A book where the quality of the leather binding shows AND the price was very reasonable - under $30 !!! The paper is high quality as well and has a sewn in ribbon to use as a book mark. Delivery was quite fast and was packed very well. I've read half of the book which has close to 700 pages !! Well written, and a pleasure to read and learn from. I will certainly be ordering more leather bound books in the very near. Can't miss !!!!

Great book, it's awesome for those who want to lear something about the stories of old. And the quality of the book itself is amazing.

Excellent book, but do keep in mind this will not be easy read, as the book is more in the line of textbook, not in a storybook way or lucid manner. So might feel bored at first, but if you are a mythology buff, this is absolute must have. Give it time and it will grow on you

It's a beautiful book, but the content is very disappointing. I don't even think I would recommand it to a beginner. Added to that, the author is judgmental...
