Vegetarians, vegan, and keto folk rejoice!
For years I was afraid to buy this product because, being a finicky eater, it just sounded and looked overly strange. Then on a visit to Whole Foods, I asked an employee if he'd tried it. He had positive comments to make and suggested I give it a go with a few suggestions on how to cook with it. I bought a can...now I'm buying cases on Amazon. I'm 30 miles from the nearest WF and sometimes I make the trip only to find they are out.Jack Fruit is great...it is a chameleon similar to tofu but with a better texture. I take the pieces of jackfruit, cut them into smaller pieces and fry them with whatever international flavor I'm in the mood for eating-usually Mexican or Indian. It is also great for vegetarian BBQ.

All cans were dented and some of them leaking - stay away!
